Yes that would be quite a career. After somewhere between 32-40 years retire on $124 per hour, 20 days of vacation and crap work rules on a narrow body.

But at least they have DOH, unless you were trump or empire. Makes it all worth it i guess.

25-30% of a career on a BK contract ON PURPOSE, by choice.

But hey take that 32 years and see what it will get you at American or any other airline.
Even in the event of a merger, west will be run separate for at least five years

West pilot in meeting, "When are we going to hire again in the west?"

Company official, "No hiring at least through the end of 2013, maybe longer."

Sure looks like the bottom to me!!!!!!!!!........American West $ 97,040 $ 102,225 $ 106,879 $ 105,497 $ 92,601 $ 121,791 $ 122,291 $ 114,126 $ 123,359 $ 133,308 $ 134,654 $ - $ - $

You do realize you're working under LOA 93, right?

And that you have no business talking about bottom of the barrel, right?

And what industry-leading language do you have in your contract? Rigs?

Ya, that's what I thought.

Doug Parker speaking to America West Pilots (especially Move2)

"First off, as to the . . . the stagnation of growth, for America West
pilots since the merger – what I will tell you is, and this is a hard thing to
communicate to people but I believe it with all my heart: If we didn’t do the
merger with US Airways, you’d be in a lot worse position. Frankly, I think
as a 3 [year] F/O, you wouldn’t have a job.

We would have gone through a bankruptcy filing. We would have
downsized. We had an airline at America West that had 20% lower unit
revenues than US Airways and now has the same unit costs. That airline
could not survive. We would have tried to make it better. We’d go file
bankruptcy and get ourselves a little stronger and now the economy’s back
and we’d be trying to come out like Delta is.

But I swear to you that [the] airline was going to file bankruptcy.
When it filed bankruptcy, we would have downsized at least 15%, and, you
know, while you feel bad about stagnation, you should feel better about that
versus where you were headed. And that’s where we were headed." Not doing to well with that march 99' hire date I see. Now you run along skippy and bring the trash can in.

As opposed to the east obsession with stealing another mans job, upgrading or flying an airplane with 2 aisles instead of one.
Did you bring widebodies to the merge, I think not, now pipe down son or you might get a 20 year fence like the NWA/REP, your were probably in diapers then..
