Dear Patrick,

[background=rgb(252, 252, 252)]Please urge USAPA to bargain the best CBA it can with US Airways, then please put the Nicolau Award in Section 22 unaltered..[/background]

Your Dear Friend, Marty
Do you have a problem with that? Getting the best contract for ALL pilots. Then use the agreed to arbitrated list.

Get to a contract, that is what the courts have said. the psotion of the west has always been the Nicolau. what is the problem?

No one has a problem with the West paying a lawyer to ask USAPA's lawyer to ask USAPA to change its bargaining proposals. Who said it was a problem?

The west shouldn't need a lawyer if USAPA is properly representing the best interests of ALL the pilots. Are you saying they're not? I'm shocked.

You think a DFR would be hard to prove? You're so funny.

The company knows it.

No contract for you.

Bean

OK, back to the building blocks. A union has a duty to "represent" all pilots, not to make each and every pilot happy. At UAL (and I was there) the union took a RATIFIED list and reordered it placing scabs at the bottom. Lost the DFR Federal Court, lost the appeal, and won at SCOTUS. MOST were happy, a handful of scabs were not. Don't confuse "represent" with "outcome."Lots of bowing up here lately, but if some pilots are so sure of a DFR outcome, and are convinced (give me a break if they are not!) that they cannot sue until a ratified contract is completed, then why not move forward and get everyone paid? Ah, there is the problem. This is about revenge, the wellbeing of our own families be darned.Greeter

You really think tacking a few scabs to the bottom of a list is the same as failing to represent an entire pilot group that existed prior to USAPA being formed and that was involved previously in an arbitration settlement? Really? That there is some powerful stuff you're smoking. No wonder you think Parker is just going to go along with your little plan to steal seniority and place the company in harms way.

The former Franke air folks have lost some enthusiasm since the merger. They were totally involved right after the nic award, but lost interest shortly afterwards.

The West pilots earn more money and mostly live in a much less expensive part of the country....why on Earth would they lift a finger to help an East pilot get more money after the 5 year reign of terror?

They won't. Ever. Prediction: East pilots will still be on loa93 in the year 2016...15 years after 9-11. The thing USTUPID doesn't understand is the fact that nobody cares that you don't have an improved contract. You're not automatically entitled to one. You created this situation whereby the company can legally ignore you FOREVER. The NMB will not resume negotiations until the seniority problem...created solely by the East, is resolved. IOW, years from now.

Why the big bold post?

Several posters have said the East is pleading to negotiate with the West, but they have not provided any proof of that. On the other hand someone posted a letter from Marty to Patrick, and if the letter is not just a hoax, it shows that Marty is hoping to negotiate with the Patrick.

I could care less about the company's "harms way."

But I am thrilled you now understand the importance of "SENIORITY" and its potential "theft." Progress!

Don't be too hard on Marty. Just like the rest of us, he is only trying to get paid.Greeter

I swear to god you easties need to be spoon-fed everything. Did you not see any of the letters? Why hasn't USAPA provided them to you?

We are conjoined twins. I acknowledge you are getting 10-15% more of the blood supply. But to imply you have no connection to us is to say you can to walk one way and we can't. 7 years of bruises and stretch marks, with no separation, says you are wrong.Go ahead, keep showing "us" who is boss.Greeter
