Several posters have said the East is pleading to negotiate with the West, but they have not provided any proof of that. On the other hand someone posted a letter from Marty to Patrick, and if the letter is not just a hoax, it shows that Marty is hoping to negotiate with the Patrick.

You need to read the letter from Gary Hummell to John Scherff. He is asking the west to negotiate. Scherff's reply is absolutely priceless. Quite sad that you guys don't get all the information from the pretend union.

The T/A also did not contemplate that it would last 7 years but here we are. The T/A may have been drafted as an agreement between east, west and the company but the words are the important part. It say single agreement. So those are the words that will apply.

It would be interesting to have usapa go to the arbitrator or a judge and try and explain that a JCBA is really not a single agreement and that the T/A has not been satisfied and that the agreed to arbitrated list is not really agreed to. Even though judge Silver has stated that usapa inherits ALL obligation from ALPA and that sad excuse that it was not us that was ALPA that signed that.

Are you not seeing the box you are in? Single agreement. Either you get a new contract and trigger the Nicolau or you stay on LOA93. Those are the choices.
As Mr. Cosby said..........riiiiiiight!

Thank goodness! I'm so glad it's over! Why didn't a pilot, who is not in our union, and who doesn't work for our airline, come in and settle this earlier?

They haven't yet but they will soon enough. Get ready.

Been ready Ames, but pretty much all your predictions have failed to come true, so excuse me if I actually wait an see what happens.

April? April? Why does that come to mind?

Yes, "absolutely priceless" indeed, and who could even question the "wisdom" of such? I'm equally, absolutely certain that very clearly demonstrating such wholesale refusual to even consider negotiations will serve your side well in the future. 😉

Indeed.

Most on the West have been telling us that the East overtures to the West to discuss a change to the USAPA seniority list proposal is a hollow and insincere gesture designed only to build a case for DFR protection, rather than any sincere intention to make a change to the seniority list proposal. I.e. you all keep saying the East knows the West will not agree to a change but the East feels an offer to discuss it feigns a fair try to be impartial. Question: If you don't believe the East has any intention of changing off their seniority list, why do you suggest we should think they do?

Of course you don't care, you just want to make up for the fact you made a bad decision in the past by staying at US Airways.

That's both cruel and entirely unfair! Not all of us could ever even dream of qualifying for AWA. Unlike such bright points-of-light as your Move2CLT for example: My own tragic case was that I was stricken, shortly after birth, with both opposable thumbs and the cursed ability to walk upright. Many of us suffered in similar fashion and were thus forced to seek employment under other than the noble cactus banner.

Please give us your opinion on how readily the east would negotiate with the west away from DOH, had Nicolau acquiesced to the east's ransom demands of same.

Don't worry about tieing up your high horse. He'll evacuate his bowels right along side you.

Please edit/re-write that so as to render it even the least bit coherent....?
