The clarification will come when the court blocks the implementation of the ratified contract (which USAPA has dragged it's feet in negotiating). The damages to be awarded after that should be all the clarification you need.

Just proved yourself a liar. He had a pay check. If you know would you tell us where he was flying and what type aircraft he was on?

Never met Dave Odell, but respect his actions in doing what was best for his family going forward, no matter what his political leanings. "Outside" is no place to be right now, glad he took a recall. Some may not being accepting recall out East based on sound lifestyle and family logic. But it is time.

Based on what I am hearing, any West pilot on furlough should be burning up the Company lines on Monday morning to set up the earliest class date possible, including standing by for no-shows (if that is even something that is done.)

Why would anyone need luck? Once it's ratified, the die is cast and USAPA can't hide behind false premises. Now, if a Federal Judge was to subpeona the records of Airline Forums in order to pursue a particular poster for prosecution, then that person would indeed need luck. Alot of it.

How do you figure it's accepting a recall to the east? He is essentially a new hire with a substantially lower pay rate and far worse benefits that the job he left. He would be better off to take a job at Horizon, some other larger regional or any other major airline as he would be far better off in the long run. Especially if he shares in future damages from the east.

Having your captain write you a check to pay for their little union experiment would be "awkward".
 
For a west pilot taking a job with the east is about the same as taking a "recall" to Mid Atlantic-,it means nothing. Dave will always have his rightful place on the seniority list- in about three years... Left seat A320.

Amazing how folks could advocate merging as a voluntarily furloughed pilot at the bottom of a stagnant list, rather than being active on a rapidly growing list.

WTF are you talking about old man??? You're such a moron... and clueless.
 
Since you're discussung furloughed pilots, I'd guess all of the Westies have written the APA and explained to them why all of their furloughed pilots should be placed on the bottom of any combined list. While you're at it, you can explain to the furloughed West pilots why they will be on the bottom of said list. Don't try and give us the, "They'll be integrated per their place on the Nic list" mantra. They're furloughed, just like the East pilots you insist should be on the bottom of the Nic list. Of course, the East pilots had all been recalled by the time the Nic was released, so the East could meet their schedule. How many more West pilots would be furloughed now if the company wasn't giving the West East flying? Placing furloughed pilots on the bottom of a list is an ALPA (you'll get yours someday) mentallity, it surely isn't in the spirit of true unionism.
