You are absolutely correct: The USAPAIAN faithful will NEVER be able to cash in the DOH lottery ticket. Pour souls......

There are plenty of board members who cast about attempts at insult with words of "scab" or other ad hominem slang, but rather than be offended I have a soft spot in my heart for those who are stuck with little else.

The greater tragedy of course though is that management sails on by for years without so much as a complaint from most of the pilots, and surely not from the West...

...except I must give the West some credit, they do complain in one venue.. during crew news.. and always to complain that Doug is not hard enough on the East.

Not a single word of outrage that Doug isn't hiring to the West, or even replacing West retirements. Not a singe protest to more shrinking on the West, not even a complaint about a business model that gives up on the tourism to the Grand Canyon... instead just demands to move to CLT. :lol:

This board is an utter waste of time and is really more of a sick form of entertainment. Silver, as hamstrung by the 9th, has thrown this self inflicted mess back in the face of Doug Parker. A man, we all know, is all to happy to play stupid and drag this out for years to come. The 9th was far to naive to believe that:

A. USAPA was capable of rationality and

B. The Company had any form of moral compass and

C. The Company actually wanted to force a resolution to this.

This is going back to the 9th...100% certainty. Should be interesting to watch them digest the mess they allowed USAPA and the Company to make of the situation. Until then...possibly a year or more...I'm out. Enjoy the Holidays...as much as one can on LOA 93. Something I have a feeling many will be enjoying at Christmas 2014 and beyond.

Whatever, the bottom line is Doug told you to your face there is no growth out in PHX. Probably for years. We honestly don't care who saved who. We are moving on, without you. Dave O Dell has better prospects than any PHX based F/O

Ten years from now, most of the 330 and 350 captain bids will be AWA pilots- the junior Nicolau pilots hired in 87, 88 and 89 will be safely sequestered on reserve as 320 captains. We will coexist on peace, all in our rightful places. Peace

You keep saying "we". Who do you think you are speaking for? Are you elected to anything or just have such a just ego that you think you represent soemone other than yourself?

Moving on would imply a contract. So where is it?

Better listen to that crew news again. He said no stagantion for 2013 IF we remain separate ops. A merger or joint contract changes all of that.
