Clear said: "I said that usapa is bound by ALPA merger policy. Truth. Judge Silver wrote that usapa is bound by the T/A. ALPA merger policy is specifically stated in the T/A as the method to be used. Therefore usapa is bound to use ALPA merger policy."

The T/A was used. Still being used. Silver said we are free to negotiate within that document and to come up with a list. It specifically, absolutely does not have to be the NIC. And it won't be. And when we are all done, and we have all voted on a list of our choosing, one we are now negotiating for, one that that does not and will never use that horrible little man's abomination......you will then be free to sue us all. But only then. And we ("shudder!") will cower for 8-10 years under your (and Silver's) boilerplate warning about gloom and doom. Even after all that, when I am happily gone from this place, and under no threat of assessment (as if!) you still will never get that list implemented. You may end up with a few million, maybe billions (the sky is the limit!) in damages. But no NIC.

You, Prechill, myself. We seem to be in perfect agreement today!

Do you thing you deserved PSA DOH with the PI/US merger…. It is a yes or no answer
Yes I'm sure it was good for him but no one else. he is in the top 150 as I and in the top 380 so no I'm not quite his "super seniority".

Mr Breeze and all on this board:

I am sorry... My apologies to all who read or have read this. As I live in a glass house, I thank God that he has not seen fit to mete out to me what I deserve. It was a long night and i should probably try to find a breath-alyzer for my keyboard.

Again I am truly sorry.

Speaking only for myself: This place hardly brings out the best in any/all of us (some of my posts certainly included) and I'll fairly note that only a basically decent man would admit to such a gross lapse in judgement and apologize for it, as you've properly done here.

I've no thoughts that you truly wished any harm on an innocent.

Well put Greeter.

I believe you. You've done the right thing with this post. Maybe Saturday will be a better day for all of us.

Your stupidity was greatly underestimated, even by me...

While both your presumed MENSA membership and incredible clairvoyance were clearly evidenced as far back as Dec of 2007 by your "Ho Ho Ho! Saint Nic is comin' to town!"...? 🙂

For a bit of contrast to your "Ho Ho Ho! Saint Nic is coming to town!" I'll offer the following from that same time: EastUS: "Regardless of the west positon, and/or any great passions associated with the same.....the two groups' total voting numbers must tell the story. Hey..7 months ago I started by posting little more than "Let's figure out a way to fix this mess". No one out west has actually yet shown the slightest notion of doing anything other than blowing Nic Victory trumpets...or more realistically, as it's developing....kazoos."

Umm....5 years later...."Your stupidity was greatly underestimated, even by me..." 😉

Attrition is the only thing going for the East. Everything else, not so much.

Lowest paid. 21 Days Vacation Max. 10% 401K match....

Luv and his brother internet bullies are peeing their pants with enthusiasm over the latest bid. Moving up in the bottom of the barrel is not a win any way you look at it.

This coming from a guy who has sat in the left seat for 20+ of his 30+ year career. Benefited from a DOH merger policy and gained five more years at the end of his career, in a senior bidding position to add to career earnings that would be the envy of anyone. Who is it about? Thank god you are a minority among your peers. If the pilots before you thought like you do, this would be a much worse industry then it is today. Moving forward, you are an example of how not to treat your fellow pilots.

I think that pretty much sums it up. The only further "enhancement" available to him, is to throw the East long term "downtrodden" under the bus for a pay raise, under the "guise" of "doing the right thing", what a guy! Maybe it's not about the "commute", after all it's going to be a loooooong time before there are any 330's in PHX. Then again that short commute would be a big improvement, maybe even big enough to make it worth down bidding (with a big enough across the board pay raise) if he could get in to PHX. Flying a 75 to Hawaii for the last few years, wouldn't be all that bad either. Must be nice to be senior.

I guess you forgot about 2 BK's, the ensuing 40%+ paycuts, the loss of the DB plan and LOA93.

Believe me when I tell you you are not better off becuase of USAPA. You will never see DOH at USAirways, especially if there is a merge with AA. As EOA/JJ likes to say, "Tilting at Windmills".

By the way you get 5 more years too. Working at USAirways under LOA 93 does not elicit much envy from our peer groups in the airline industry. Except for Sun Country- lowest paid non-regional pay in the industry. Envy that.

There are a lot more of my peers out here that feel exactly as I do. They just don't post on this forum.

Seham and the USAPA boys threw you under the bus when they told you throwing ALPA off the property would negate the Nicolau Award and you'd have a new DOH contract real soon. Hasn't happened never will.

There is no NIC in the future you lied to us 5 yrs ago remember, you should be worried about be sold off, I hear Dougie is getting fed up with you boys it might cost him running the largest airline.

There is no DOH contract in your future and absent a merger no relief from LOA 93.

What's pathetic is that you're gushing with happiness about it.

I don't need a date of hire contract in my "future" I have one now! I can deal just fine with LOA 93, which I've gotten quite used to by now, particularly if the alternative is a "marginally" better NIC inclusive contract. Try not to worry too much about my plight in life and try to concern yourself with your own circumstances.

By the way, did you bid to maintain your current pay and position on the last bid? I should hope so, you being such an "honorable" individual, I assume you would not partake in any of that "ill-gotten" East growth and attrition.
