Yes, the east is very definitely getting 5 more A330-200s in 2013.

Hope you enjoy watching us fly them as much as we enjoy do so!

As far as "growth" airplanes, neither the east nor the west is growing the number of hulls. These are replacements for the retiring 737s.

It just means about 100 more east pilots will get a raise next year to a rate that exceeds the top west rate. (And that doesn't even consider the rest of the upgrades.)

Have you actually looked at our contract? It's not the greatest I'll admit, but because of differences in duty/rigs, medical, etc. we have FOs that are better compensated than some of your captains. It's pathetic to see seasoned pilots suffering from shiny jet syndrome. Just ignore the fact that in a few years you'll be at FA wages, because the jet is sooooo purdy.

I know exactly what your seniority number is. So what? Are you afraid to bid the 330, TB? (Or do you go by AB?) All those senior F/Os that you are anxious to throw under the bus will have you out numbered on the crew. Might be uncomfortable for you. At least my crews know I have their backs when it comes to keeping the Nic away.

Yes I did, I'm not giving up working 8 days a month for nickels and dimes to be on reserve 19 days a month and fly bad trips.

Relative seniority has been used in every arbitration in the last 10 years. You aren't special. DFR 1 was a slam dunk. So will DFR2 if it ever gets that far. The Alcoholic Coward Douglas Parker still can't remember what he agreed to. When he does, chances are far greater he will recall the Nic award. He's under no obligation what so ever to "negotiate" seniority with your ridiculous union.

First point. With your track record when you say "I hear" pretty much means that you are about to lie.

You guys have been telling the lie that Parker is going to sell of the west for so long it has no value even saying it anymore. But as I said before please at the next crew news ask Parker about that. Suggest it. I would be very interested in hearing his answer. Because he has answered it before.

Now for the last part of your illogic. It is not the west that might cost him the merger. The west pilots are just unfortunate members of usapa. Usapa is the one screwing up his merger. It is usapa that went back on your word.

The west has insisted on one simple thing. Use the arbitration. Don't use it get sued. The rest of this is on the east. It is usapa that Parker refuses to negotiate with not the west. It is usapa name on the union not the west.

Take the time to read the NAC undate. Useless the NMB finds their spine Parker is going to get his delay. The delay that you guys are all crowing about now. LOA93 for the distant future.



 
I don't need a date of hire contract in my "future" I have one now! I can deal just fine with LOA 93, which I've gotten quite used to by now, particularly if the alternative is a "marginally" better NIC inclusive contract. Try not to worry too much about my plight in life and try to concern yourself with your own circumstances.

By the way, did you bid to maintain your current pay and position on the last bid? I should hope so, you being such an "honorable" individual, I assume you would not partake in any of that "ill-gotten" East growth and attrition.

How about if you guys are so set and it is a core value you have usapa reorder the east list the Straight DOH. That way you can go into court and tell the judge that you have consistent values.
 
The grievance folks should definitely be advised if the TA stipulates growth planes will be delivered to both sides equally, even before a joint contract. Is that what the TA says?

The only thing it says is you don't know the difference between seniority and longevity.

If we merge with American you'll learn the difference, if not you'll get to enjoy LOA 93 for many years to come.

Thanks. One sometimes forgets that all of human history started ten years ago. 😉 Heck...I even have occassional and clearly delusional false memories of a half century of life experience prior to that time....Go figure! 🙂

No matter, I suppose. Keep up the good work in telling us all just how everything should be in this fine world of ours. 😉
