OCT/NOV 2012 US Pilots Labor Discussion

Yep. Jealousy, bitterness, and no moral compass have driven the East over a cliff in the USAPA bus. They live in a world where they are ordained by the almighty himself to take whatever they want, from whomever they want, whenever they want. Despite the fact that Karma was been bludgeoning them for years, they will never learn.

The AA merger will come with the Nic and a big fat raise, or no merger, LOA 93 forever.
Sell the west, problem solved.

Maybe AOL and/or USAPA will appeal...ever thought of that?

Yeah, I thought of that.

In any event, going in front of the 9th while DFRII is in the circuit will absolutely kill both the company and uscaba!

Looks like new hire pilots on the East list will be advanced in a few years that give them seniority rights that you don't have.

Don't pull your hand out of that bucket of water too fast.

Um...in case you are a little slow...at LCC I have seniority rights as per my/our contracts with the company.

Are you saying uscaba will not defend my rights at LCC?

Just in: 500 people lined up at CLT airport for 60 jobs with TSA and airport positions.

Citibank eliminating 11,000 jobs.

AMR still losing money in BK and BK contracts with employees may still be too rich.

SWA very worried about increasing costs, especially with labor.

Fiscal cliff negotiations go nowhere and 2012 tax returns have less for refunds, if you get a refund at all.

It looks like LOA 93 may be the industry leading contract for 2013 in the airline industry. Delta and united looks to be overpaid.

Have a great holiday.

Who cares? No matter though = I know!!!...The only appropriate thing to do here would be to put some west person like yourself, with over a decade or more LESS time worked, ahead of all those people!!! Yeah!...That makes perfect "sense"!

Speaking earlier of bean's "...pilots with an IQ over 50, that have to witness this stupidity up close." You really do post your "logic" purely to provide us all some fine chuckles, don't you? 😉
Who cares? Well the east has been trying unsuccessfully to make a case that it is absurd for line-holding west captains to continue to hold their seats after SLI because there are very junior FOs who were furloughed at the time of the merger who have an ancient DOH with their pre-merger company in comparison to the west. But the obvious issue is not that a west pilot could hold a NB left seat with 7 years of time served at the time of the merger, but that an east pilot who was hired 24 years ago still cannot hold a left seat position unless he displaces a line-holding west captain to do it.

I'm an easy going guy who enjoys a good laugh but I find nothing humorous about what the east pilots have done to avoid the results of binding arbitration or their implied desires to displace west pilots out of their seats after agreeing to abide by the results of a neutral third party arbitration panel.

Exactly, that is what conditions and restrictions are for, besides can you say "DISPLACEMENT"! The west does 30% east flying now how much do you think they would do when DUI closes PHX!
Get your numbers right.. It is not 30%. Just FUD for you.

So tell us short bus. What good would the usapa's C&R do if they allowed PHX to be closed?

Only those out of your mind would think that the west pilots would agree to that. With the Nicolau Parker can close PHX. We all live with the new merged company.

You really are to stupid to discuss things. You trash your own argument.

USAPA can only enforce your existing agreement. That would be geographically in PHX. That's where your seniority rights exist for you and yours and that's where it shall remain if and until a JCBA is negotiated. That's the law.

Enjoy your holiday in PHX.

Without JCBA and PHX closed the only right you would have is preferential hiring under the East contract.

That's a fact.

Enjoy your holiday in PHX.

Arbitration is only good until the next contract is negotiated. Might wish to get more legally educated.

Have a nice holiday in PHX.

Find a job yet pilot wannabe with no life, job or positive self-worth?
Go run for office....oh yeah. You did. How did that work out again? Did you join Borman in drowning your sorrows in a huge bucket of chicken? It must be stunning to ones ego to have such a disparity between self image , and the reality OTHERS see so graphically displayed. Especially amongst your own tribe. Sad.

How would LOA93 be the industry leading contract?

You think contract 2004 is going somewhere?

No, I have seniority rights during the period of separate operations, and seniority rights at LCC post operational pilot integration.

Usapa has a DFR to enforce both, as they inherited my contracts with the company.

So, usapa and the company either negotiate a JCBA or get sued for collusion.

Hey, did you see the company's response to the NMB? No contract will be put out to a vote until the seniority issue has been finally resolved the the legal system! In other words no contract will ever be put out to a vote!

Actually the fact would be if PHX closed without a JCBA, the company would be on the hook for full pay and benefits for however many pilots it took to maintain West min block!

further, the company would have to park the West fleet as it cannot be flown by east pilots.

Now some West pilots might get the reverse recall rule of the TA, but I am thinking that really would not apply either ,as the shared growth clause would come into play if the east grew at all from a West closure. but, why would a West pilot go fly on the east when s/he could sit at home and collect?

Umm....those two thoughts actually work well together for you within the same posting? 😉

Wow!....Yet people sometimes chastise me for my notion that some out west spend their lives in Fantasyland! 😉
