On the new ramp bid in PHL they are short 39 Lead Agents , they think that they are going to get people from PIT to fill these positions , dont hold your breath waiting for the PIT people.It looks like it will be another interesting holiday travel season in PHL, maybe a repeat of 2004 ?
 
I see Flat Screen TV's and IPods in someone's future this Holiday Season!
 
Hey everyone, step up to the plate and start swingin'. Do it for your company, one for the team. The company is counting on you to get it done. COUGH, COUGH.... 😉 I don't know WHYYYYY they'd be short. I mean people are falling over each other to get these positions right? :lol: PHL has always been a dump and hard to staff. Now you have an even MORE clueless management team that looks at Philly like a deer in headlights. 🙄
 
And let us not forget those around the system who have received their packets telling them their services will not be required after the first of the year or those who will be forced to transfer to keep a job. I'm sure they wil be giving 100%. :blink:
 
well, i gues its that time of year to start packing those sleighs with pax and their bags and make sure that the reindeer have plenty of fuel--their own foood!!!!

I'd like to stay informed on any sort of promotion that US AIRWAYS is going to be giving to any of the ramp workers in PHL to come into work and do their job , which they get paid to do like the rest of us (more than the rest of us actually ) . If i find out US AIRWAYS managment is giving away I-PODS and flatscreen tvs this year to the workers in PHL and doing SQUAT for us here in PHX who give our all day in and day out i'm going to raise HELL .

Don't give up the fight !!!!!
 
Is it worth my sanity to work in PHL for 6 months and transfer out? or should I stick w/ the regionals.

Would not be the first time PHL got some incentive to come to work.

freedom see thats the problem or should I say solution. PHL DOES RAISE HELL AS A SOLID UNIFIED GROUP. SO they get what they

want .. CAN you say that for your folks in PHX.. YOU bust your a.. for management everyday working short / and running around at

the drop of a hat and management LOVES it.. that doesn't happen in phl..
