Fences are only so tall they will eventually come down - besides why does it matter no one can just say move over i am taking your job you are displaced- They can only transfer in as need be. And if you think that we are going to go out there and give up Europe and carribean to do a L.A. overnight that we have anyway you are crazy!!

Well the name say it!! Anyway in response, Lets look at this - A 1983 flight attendant at HP goes to a 1957 seniority number just like that and when you transfer bases anywhere it is at your seniority number. would you want to go to the bottom if you get the itch to go to D.C. or charlotte or N.Y. or philly or Boston or PIT. No you will go in at your seniority. that is fair - I think the sun has gotten to you all, you are very fearful and are just now trying to start a stink what was the problem with this by-law last your or the year before or 10 years ago. Your list isn't going to be stapled you will be DOH. and there will be a fence anyway so you dont have to give uop your bidding anything like that but you are asking for both years of seniority tacked onto your seniority taking away for what we have worked so hard for. I really think you guys are delerious!!!

When they transfer in they can displace as far as base seniority and bid what they want. If you are so sure no one wants LA overnights then you have no objection to a long fence. You can have one too on PHL and CLT.

Yes that is fine but you guys are already hurting for people and I can assure you that that fence won't be a 10 year fence like you probably want. We just want to do our job not fight like children over a mute point such as this,
You guys act like Phoenix is a holy land or something, LOL. Most of us have been displaced at some point, tdy'd, etc... You just kinda have to live with it when that kind of stuff happens and you are playing by the rules... If you don't play by the rules you will see some nasty shady stuff start to go on.

Well they do we have plenty of middle aged to older flight attendants that pass recurrent every year and as long as they do - good for them.

I flew with her last month on a couple of C.O.D.s She has 48 years, so I guess 1957 adds up. She actually did fine with her bags.

No sweet pea, because HP has delivery of new planes 319 and 320 in place of the 318 you were supposed to get and you dont have the staffing, I just look at the facts thats all.

LOL, so clueless, you are not hiring because of the merger silly!!! You had planned to hire all the way through December of this year with classes every month. Don't make that brain think to hard!!

I am not sure if that is exactly true. I agree with USA320pilot. I did read that America West will be a wholly owned of US Airways Inc. and not the other way around. I really wish someone could find these releases. This topic gets old. It seems to show it's ugly head every two weeks or so.

I agree with you that this is getting old. However, I think we could find all the info with a simple google search. Personally, I dont care. We will be US Air, we are MERGING, and the rest is up to the higher-ups. All I want to do is my job, get my paycheck, and stay out of the airport for the remainder of the time.
