You obviously weren't at AWA when Wanza retired. She was in her mid-60's, and managed just fine. Your conversation regarding age is showing yours. And, it is very discriminatory. Chill out! B)

Wasn't Wanza also referred to as "Salads over STL"?

I hate having to pick up someone elses slack because they are either too old or too lazy to do their part.

Yes. Wanza was referred to as Salads over STL. I had the pleasure of working with her before she retired, but she wasn't lazy. Just slow and took us forever to do the service, but she was a pleasure to work with. Very pleasant and nice.

It defines your vacation, your pay, your quality of life, trips, positions, etc.
U flight attendants have GIVEN BACK many compromises in all of those areas via concession rounds...1..2..and 3.
I cant see the reasoning to "slot" someone with 25 yrs SENIORITY (most senior F/A at HP) next to someone with 40 YEARS SENIORITY (senior F/A at U). You've just given someone SENIORITY.............THEY DIDNT EARN!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't argue! Hey, you started it. I asked a question, you came back with pure nastiness. And, even though my light bulb may be a little dim at times, at least I don't have to deal with an extinguished flame - or was candle wax even invented when you started - or even fire discovered for that matter, you old dinosaur. Now, if you'll just post your address, I'll send you a basic grammar and punctuation book, as well as a dictionary. Until then, you are being ignored.

Every airline in which U has merged with has ALWAYS been date of hire. The last merger was with the Trump Shuttle that was former Eastern Shuttle. It works. Why try to fix something that isn't broken? Unfort you can't make everyone happy.

Just a silly little question from someone without enough time left to worry about such petty things......

If your vacation, pay, QOL, trips, positions, etc, stay the same after the merger as they were before the merger, does that mean your seniority stayed the same?

I am not an old dinosaur and I don't think this is a board that is known for grammar etc., For your information as well I am a flight attendant with less than 10 years seniority but hey call me a dinosaur if you want. Unlike your friend Matthew on the AWA board I am not stupid enough to post that information, you may ignore me now but you won't when I junior man you to the back galley, now what?

Hey HP is NOT the one in Bankruptcy, the only reason you can get the financing to pay off YOUR debts(from your lack of management skills) is because HP is now involved.
Funny it looks like the NEW management team is made up primarily of HP executives, with the exception of one. I guess management skills are recognized in a Successful organization like HP. US should be thankful we (HP)took on the merger opportunity to grow our airline HP..(just using your US name- with all the bad PR) maybe we should have kept the HP name and see how you all feel working for a Successful airline. I still say, be thankful you still have a job...DOH will not work.
