Are you serious? LONDON is not concidered a GOOD trip????? SHUT UP !!!!!!Things have changed enormously. I am at 17 years and am on reserve at JFK. I can hold London, but that really isn't considered a great trip.
I am hoping we have some reserve reform eventually. I heard some airline, not sure which one has the lower 70% of the systemwide seniority list serve approximately 5 days reserve every month. I am willing to do that until the day I retire. It would make life much easier. I know there are many who will cry foul if that ever happens. We will see...

Not from JFK or BOS. IIRC, block times run about six hours each direction, so you have to do at least one additional sequence per month in order to get the same number of hours you'd get working ORD-LHR or DFW-LGW.
Yes, I believe that the newhire Chinese speakers are off the recall list.
You are mistaken. The company has not recalled any flight attendants since the PVG flight started last year. The standard of one speaker per cabin on the 777 is now two on the plane so that less speakers are needed.
If they had recalled speakers out of seniority order, then "cznery" would be flying PVG and not lines for Eagle.
He was referring to those at the very bottom of the list who lost their recall rights as of last Oct. 1st. There were quite a few native CM speakers in the classes that graduated in 2001.
Yep. That's what I was referring to.
If the LHR short layover hotel is still the same one it was five or six years ago, it's a utterly miserable experience. I had to stay there a couple times when meeting with BA.
You're forced to go back to the airport (or convince the shuttle driver to take you to Hatton Cross) to catch the tube for a 45 minute ride into Central London if you wanted to do so, and there's little more than other hotels within walking distance.
