Health and Safety Laws
Vacations
Child Labor laws
Medical benefits
Sick Time
Pensions.

There was a time for them back in the last century. But everything you mentioned was about 100 years ago. They have outlived themself.
An updated list of things the Union has gained for employees is:

Unpaid sick time
"Deep" vacation cuts
Complete loss of seniority if laid off
Second class pay system that the non-union companies haven't gone to yet.
Contracted out jobs

and last but not least, "Big union Boss paycheckS"

Workers aren't stupid that's why less than 8% of the private sector is union now.

You are certainly misguided and have a hatred for unions.

Coming from someone that said last week that "the company is the enemy" those words ring hollow.

Unions in the airline serve a purpose and since you did not attend the bankruptcy court hearings where US declared war on its employees nor attended contract negotiations you have no idea what transpired.
