Unionization

You have restated the same wrong facts that the IAM keeps repeating hoping the can make them true so they look better. Once again I will correct you guys.
A. The work was lost BEFORE the TEAMSTERS were on the property. Get it -- BEFORE
B. EVERYONE that lost thier job to Franke outsourcing had the chance to come back to work with thier pay seniority intact. That means unlike your contract where they loose thier pay after a time, our guys came back top of the scale. Not all wanted to come back and I can understand their reasons, but THEY ALL GOT THE CHANCE. And do not forget that this chance was because of the TEAMSTERS.
Teamsters since 911 have increased our numbers and we have recieved our scheduled pay increases with only 2 guys on furlough. That is a record that you can not touch.
 
Aeroman and Timco, how many HP ibt represented mechanics are there overhauling your fleet since the ibt has been unable to get the work back in-house?

Under the Teamsters the Phase Checks started up and that was a large part of the increase and then the back shops were opened again. You know back shops - oh thats right you guys don't have them anymore. Another IAM improvement? And did you miss the point that the ALL had the chance to come back at the top of the pay scale? If so let me repeat it - They ALL had the chance to come back at full pay seniority under the TEAMSTERS.

The IAM/US CBA scope lamguage covers the 190s, it only allows the outsourcing of the 757, 767 and 50% of the 737s.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

We do C-checks, S-checks and Q-checks.

Just like Aeroman and Timco does to the HP fleet.

Since you think that the IBT can just" bring it back in" so easy, then why did the IAM let the bk judge do away with the heavies you did???????

The company with the courts blessing sent a final offer out to the membership and the members ratified it. Seems you have a problem understanding what happened, too bad you can't accept the facts.

US Airways IAM represented mechanics overhaul the 737s and all the Airbus A320 aircraft.

ACTS overhauls the A330s and the 767s and the mechanics are IAM represented, ST MAE does the 757s but some of them have been done in-house recently.

Work is farmed out under IBT contract, contract bad! Work is farmed out under IAM contract, contract good! Do they give you treats everytime you repeat that. And because ACTS does it and they are IAM that also makes it okay, what is the pay difference at ACTS vs TIMCO what about PEMCO I beleive they are IAM vs MAE I bet if you look at these Vendors the pay and benefits of being union vs non-union probably isn't much. And the 757 check that went to PIT how many guys got called back for that, watching the bids not to many but the IAM is going to get guys back!

its not C-checks like you guys do...its the meat and potato checks....heavies.as for the aircraft its spelled out in the IAM agreement which was gutted out due to the existance of your type of carrier and operating arena.

where you been? they been unloading aging airframes of both types.737's are coming up on some very costly lap joint repairs and the 320's are made from junk aluminum and older ones are already running into heavy repair costs.
besides they have to make room in CLT to do YOUR aircraft heavy maintenance that isn't covered under YOUR superior IBT contract. :lol:

the decision in Federal Court in favor of IAM was the biggest victory and proof of the IAM superior scope.A federal judge ruled once and for all,backing up the strongly defined and well written language that the company and Gerry Glass didn't comprehend.If you weren't sleeping,you would have realized that any additional aircraft to come into mainline was/is and always will be covered under our superior scope...its our work-proven in Federal Court.

more IBT propaganda for all....funny FAA wants to see some of the maintenance done in house so they can police it on property.....maybe IBT should thank FAA for pressuring AWA to bring the light weight checks in....just like they did at WN and are doing to others.more IBT BS for Votes... :lol:

so here we sit with our former industry leading IAM negotiated contract which was gutted and molded into the likes of HP and Jet Blue style contracts and you have no concept of what a good one was or is as you have only recent experience in aviation contractual endeavors still hung in second gear in your present neg's.first contracts are exactly what they are....a begining.....unfortunately ours came to an end..... :mf_boff: I hope you never enjoy the same fate.... 😉 we can all harp all day long,place blame on unions,membership and management but in the end good people had their lives changed in many drastic ways and for some it will never come back and for some it will continue to change
 
Until I see something official from the NMB, I dont believe anything you post.
