Why are the east pilots ignoring a legal award?
To take effect, it had to be ratified in a joint agreement. The only joint agreement the membership will vote on will not have the ALPA award anywhere in it.
Before you get to excited, there is not a TA or a contract in place yet. So that chapter has not been written yet. The Nicolau will prevail. So we both get what is legal. You get USAPA we all get Nicolau seniority.
You have your opinion, and I have mine. No amount of "Proof", Arguing, jumping up and down seems will change them. Time will tell when the new contract is completed and Doug does not dispute the USAPA CB&L's.

Reading the same "junk" over and over again from USAPA's opponents makes you believe that they think it will.

If you actually have even the slightest faith in that...there's no logical reason for your lack of participation within USAPA......

As a newbie, can someone explain this to me? Is this what happens when a poster is sent to the cornfield? A person could drown in a cornfield these days. But I am serious, what does it mean to be "deleted by moderator"?

I would hope the west MEC demands that US dismiss any pilot who becomes delinquent in their dues per the RLA.

So many innocent US employees whose careers are put at risk by a irrational few.

Reason pays huge dividends. Try it!!

Truly amazing..... I guess that "Integrity" matters..but "Consistency", most certainly. does NOT :blink: :lol: I am somewhat curious though...How does anyone have "Integrity" without the slightest degree of "Consistency"? I always thought the two to be logically linked...Oh Well...

A West former "friend" of mine clued me into the key to stop or reduce most of the furloughs. It's in their contract to voluntarily reduce their monthly flying to 40 hours, staffing permitting. We need to push that. But the West has the knowledge to put it together. They know the intent at the table. We don't. They know their contract. All it would take to avoid furloughs (except for maybe last winter's new-hires) is to find out how many would do that 40 hour thing and look into reducing line average a little. That would take a poll, of DUES-PAYING members.

I'm not a saint, but I'd take 40 hours every month I could. As temporary as this job is, I could use the time to work 3/4 time at my real job (the farm). No Bucks in Bucks County if you're not driving the tractor.

West guys, you can sit on the sidelines and moan and groan on this web board or you can help to save jobs. your contract is the key. Use it. Help out all LCC pilots. We will listen if you can get anyone with enough stones to break away from your blessed AWAPPO.

I would hope some west pilots are willing to step up to the plate.............

Leo the lion, no East pilot is going to take a West CA or FO position. That rumor is long worn out. When are you going to get over that BS threat? The bad old USAPA is all the sustains your awappo/leo deal. Our Beepers are working on some pretty tall fences. Give a listen when they get it worked out. It won't be the NIC, but you might just be surprised.

Maybe you misunderstand. Maybe you overestimate the power of the mighty USAPA. Parker is not bound by USAPA’s C&BL. He does not have to dispute it, he does not care what they do or don’t say. Parker is only concerned with what he will negotiate. Otherwise you could put in the C&BL that you will be the highest paid pilots in the industry. (How did that work out for you?)

The next time you come across dictator Bradford or any of the other self appointed “leadersâ€￾ ask them what the status of the Nicolau award is. Ask them why they say that they are negotiating seniority instead of the Nicolau has gone away. Listen to Parkers last crew news from CTL. He says that the Nicolau is still in place.
