I hope we come up to your "World" instead of you coming down to ours. The way things are going? Hope you will enjoy my world. Don't worry, you'll get used to the impending lifestyle change. Well, at least some will anyway.
I wasn't going to go here, but...well...here I go anyway.

I hope the west enjoys LOA 93 as much as we have...because there's no way the East can raise their side of the fence..(oil) IMO....so, to all you westies who have been rolling over and over in the fact that the East has LOA93...

welcome to the machine, baby.

heck, I'd like to offer that to fix the 190 issue, while we're at it...

(actually, thats not true...I NEVER want to negotiate backwards....but there's a few smug westies that should "own" LOA 93..)
😉

190s are NOT INCLUDED in the minimum fleet size (yet, and hopefully never). Why do you think the company didn't just park all the 737s like UAL is doing?

They have used the limits to replace as much flying as they could with the 190s already.

That's true to a degree, and that was the reason I believed the 737 are still here. But someone else pointed out that all our aircraft are leased, and just parking leased aircraft is not easily tolerated by the bottom line. At some point, though, the price of fuel will probably make it more economical to even mothball the leased aircraft, or return them and pay any penalties.

I'll yet hope that things can be made better, versus worse...but...on an irrational and purely emotional level? = It couldn't happen to a buncha' "nicer guys" Seriously though?...It'd be of great help to have substantial unity within the pilot group..and for those who seek the Union's sabotage and fantasized destruction?...well...Zero sympathy for whatever comes your way.

Well, yes, the LAS pulldown illustrates that..while most aircraft were sleeping, the company ran LAS all night...

Ask me how I know...

While I was FUR...I ALSO flew as a Captain at Mesa for HP Express. And I did a lot of LAS nightshifts...DP said a working airplane is cheaper than a sleeping one....

And that is true, unless a working one burning fuel at $4/gal with seats at $39 is what you get.

result: LAS semi-shutdown.
If these same aircraft are leased...you eat it either way.

Small problem for you, no they're not. Think about it.

Really? What differentiates one pilot from another when everyones's bill is from April 18-June16th? There's nothing cryptic about that.

This ought to be good.

Oh the company just likes to give away $$ because it's nice. They won't open up the rates unless they have to or you offer them something in exchange. 2015 baby.
2015? When we have a new contract, you better hope that further reductions don't occur. You or some fellow westie might be displacing to that aircraft or displacing to the street. Either way, it's going to be flown by someone at the specified rates. Unless our "Unity" can effect change. Might happen without your help, but then again...........

Quite simply, the estimate of billing was based on W2's. Did everyone earn the same? Therefore some owe more than others. Need I go on for your benefit? Or can you grasp the difference? How's that?

Well, thats why I'm bringing it up...I am included in the first group of original mainline pilots who are displacing downward to this aircraft..as opposed to new hire FO's or, upgrades to CA on it.

the Ca pay is low, but liveable..it would help to be an instructor on it..but doable.

the right seat...?

look for yourselves.

Why does USAPA pretend that they can change those rates in this economic climate without a concession somewhere else? Summer 2015 is when the company will talk turkey, USAPA will need to be honest to the sheep. But it's not all bad you get a 2% raise in 2012 and 2014

C'mon you can do better than that. They are not terminated for the amount they owe, only that they owe. If someone is $0.50 behind or $5K behind in dues after the proper process has been followed, they face the same potential termination. There is no fast-track to the process.

Next.

The change, my friend, is called LOA93....a name you will learn to hate.

maybe you could have prevented it..if only you had some participation in the union who negotiates for you.

You know who to blame...they have names in BOLD in a large lawsuit you'll soon hear a lot about.

Yes, USAPA is going to make a concession somewhere. They will start with LOA 93 and negotiate a 3% across the board pay raise on THOSE rates. That's a raise for us; too bad about your Airbus and 737 guys. There's your concession. Equal pay for equal work. Questions?

OK...you first.

Thats how it will work.

You think that you can subbrogate the process on a perceived technicality....and in that, you are wrong.

you will become part of a list, generated by USAPA, CONFIRMED by the company...and they will begin the lawfully MANDATED terminations under the law. In an order they choose...show me proof of any different interpretation...

what size hat do YOU wear, sir...maybe it'll fit better than LEO's.

Yep, and the 737 has been targeted out west as "overstaffed" in company communications. Were any 737 pilots on the list, it would solve a cost problem by negating the need to retrain to the 'bus.
