Should anyone ever need a proper reference? = This is the very same "gentleman" who proudly proclaimed to the world = "I want the captain seat...and most of all, I want every single east pilot to pay for it". I rest my case. As I said = Not even worth talking to anymore.

Then I guess by your estimation, we "know" each other, you're another typical westie who woke up one morning with his head stuck inside the inner peripheral dimesions of that portion of the undercarriage normally reserved for exhaust, and has been breathing and speaking the contents wherein ever since....nothing new here, indeed.

Elixer: While a fine and largely definative effort sir..I must call you to task on one issue only = You make the very charitable asumption that some/ANY "breathing" is going on..which would presuppose at least some oxygen getting to their brains 🙄 :lol:

You can't exactly make that same claim, can you? Because East has quoted you in that very regard for several months...and you've never retracted or denied that statement, have you? So you tell me, just exactly WHO wants WHAT around here?

What fluff? I read the interpretation and restatement of future events. Including the restart of the PVF. It's a worthy endeavor BTW. But then again I am not expecting your participation in that either. So yes, there was some substance. Try reading it again.

And I have met some, they are out there...good guys too...minority/majority? I don't know...I think, maybe majority....

But when you have a "cult-like" leadership-run-amuck out there...it must be a difficult position for them to be in. I really think it must suck to be out there under that scenario.

The good news out west, in my opinion, is that the dues-dissenting senior guys will get served walking papers 10 at a time in whatever order the company chooses..maybe just in seniority order...(which will not shut down the operation, as they hope) and it should result in fewer and fewer FUR's out west...maybe even none.
 
I'm of the mindset that we must NEEDS address the 190 pay rates in the current negotiations. It's preposterous to have a "mainline" aircraft flying around at such rates. Given that the 190's postioned to become the "new" 737...we have to seek appropriate pay rates.

These 190 rates are particularly preposterous in light of the fact that one of our express carriers, Republic, pays its relatively junior pilots more money to fly the E170....the very same E170's that the east pilots paid for with their pensions. Getting the E190 pay rates to at least 90% of Group 2 is a MUST in the near term.
