Hardly, as no such statement can be found within anything that I've EVER posted. There were abundant reasons for the dismissal of alpa..your sort of thinking being but one such. Feel quite free to embrace your inner child though, and find fun in imagining and summoning up whatever "(giggles and grins)..." you might imagine to be appropriate. 🙄

I was at the lake yesterday. Several people were tossing out bread. And there was a kid throwing rocks at them just to see their reaction.

The poor birds..stuck within the varied effects of "The Human Condition"

Yes indeed. You, EastUS, and others seem to excel at throwing stones...perchance you were the kid at the lake.

As previously noted sir..If that's your best attempt at any semblance of an actually cogent argument..well..Have a fine evening anyway....

The only stone I've seen lately is the AWAAPA millstone. And I didn't throw it.

REMEDY SOUGHT
WHEREFORE, the Plaintiffs seek the following relief:

A. An ORDER:

1. Precluding East Pilots from taking any steps toward negotiating a collective bargaining agreement that is inconsistent with fully implementing the Nicolau Award Single Seniority List;

2. Directing East Pilots to make good faith efforts to negotiate a single collective bargaining agreement that fully implements the Nicolau List;

Perhaps AWAAPA should have also asked the judge to order USAir pilots to vote in favor of the next negotiated contract that will include a negotiated NIC implementation.

Can we please add whirled peas?!

Well Just for starters: "(1) if the Company is the surviving carrier, the Company will integrate the two Pilot groups in accordance with Association Merger
Policy if both groups are represented by the Association," Which Association actually applies here?

No matter. I see this as efforts from the west at enriching lawyers and maintaining fantasies, and we've bigger fish to fry in the meanwhile = Furlough avoidance efforts and scope issues, merely for starters.

As was Phoenix' "I saw a kid at the lake..." less than a feeble attempt at cogent argument but you apparently have no problem with that - how typically hypocritical (sigh).

Actually I've decided it's impossible to have cogent, rational, adult discussions with those unwilling or unable to do the same - like you and Phoenix (pity). So henceforth I'll just throw the rocks back that you lob over the fence (Sir, for good measure).

Well Just for starters:

Just for starters, no one in the West will acknowledge what AWAAPA is even suing for. It is really comical. They maintain that "We have no union." "USCABA is illegitimate." "Final and binding." "We will will never pay."

Blah blah blah.

If it is all about what the judge is gonna do to establish their righteous position then they should at least be interested in making their righteous argument to the judge. Instead they ask the judge to affirm NIC is the required negotiating position and then scream at the top of their lungs, and only take their fingers out of their ears long enough to throw rocks or point fingers, to delay hearing what the judge will have to say about what they actually asked him to say.

"You won't agree with my premise that you should agree with my argument even though I refuse to tell you what it is." 🙄 Hey this is like marriage counseling... "Honey, you should already know why I am mad at you. Which gives me more reason to prove you are a lousy spouse... and the councilor is gonna bust you for that."

Perhaps it's more the true case that you simply do not have any semblance of a rational argument against the previously posted notions:

"Whenever anyone, anywhere can imagine themselves, their group/whatever to be of higher "relative" value, based purely upon their egos, narcicissm or momentary circumstances/"snapshots"/whatever.... than any others within the same trade and craft...chaos and interminable internecine strife, as we see fully demonstrated herein, reigns supreme. Eviscerating the essential core value of time worked isn't the answer to anything here or anywhere...no matter whether or not it's ever to be found to be politically convenient or not. All that's ever accomplished by such utter insanity is the sowing of yet more deranged, dragon's teeth for future monsters to later arise from. Any discussion of "ideals' withn the "relative" world view, (however laughable, imho) might properly be tempered by the simple observation that all other work groups herein have combined without excessive strife and distress under DOH. Are ALL the members of ALL other work groups here merely "crazy" and without ANY "ideals" here?...or do all those others simply "get" something that both you and the west pilots seem to curiously "miss" somehow?"

BBoy: "So henceforth I'll just throw the rocks back that you lob over the fence (Sir, for good measure)."

Knock yourself out. 🙄

How unoriginal - you really should find some new rocks to toss (sigh)...the same old ones get so boring (yawn)...Sir...

While I hate to interrupt the love-fest, can we revisit this scope issue?

Does anyone have a correct count of total airframes on the property? I know there is relief for any hulls over 360 total....( 1 for 3 ) so, I'd like to know specifically how many RJ's are over budget, if any. The rumor is 17...but Parker eluded that we are over the min fleet size (or close to it)...it will be the MOST important argument for minimizing furloughs before they occur.

PS: a 76 CA told me that a check-airman told him that almost all 75/76 training was halted last week on this scope news...so it IS important to pin down.

Parker said this was all about capacity...removing seats will raise prices...

I'll say it again: 86 X 17 =1462 seats

He wants to park 10 73's
(assume avg 140 seats) 140 X 10 = 1400 seats

this is an issue that affects east and west pilots facing furlough or downgrading due to displacement and cascade...

Thanks

Hokay then..back to the real world we actually live in.

Mach: I don't have those numbers myself sir, but there is a major scope greivance being pursued, along with a requested TRO against all furloughs in the meanwhile.

Thanks...I assume the union has an accurate list of aircraft....I'm just attempting to ascertain if the company has wiggle-room over 93 due to being over min fleet.

Thanks again...( didn't know about the TRO )

I'm not any Union Officer myself, so I don't have the nitty gritty on the numbers involved, but the issue's being persued with due diligence to the stats involved. It's patently obvious that the company's choosing to toss main line (more expensive) pilots on the street, while continuing with their excessive RJ games....That BS needs to stop...period.
