US Pilots Labor Discussion

You were a national carrier, not a major.

We had the ATSB loan carrying us through along with GECAS and Airbus.

Funny if HP was so rich and bountiful, how come they had no money for the merger?

US East with Lakefield and Seabury and Associates raised all the money,

And you see US had the better name recognition, hence why it was kept.

And when Wolfe was hear, we won the highest ranking for service, can you say the same?

FAA never threatened to shut down US and never had the hand in every aspect of the operation and we were not limited to grow, cant say the same about HP, no can ya?

When you make an agreement to stand by what the arbiter rules, its binding. But you will find that out soon enough. Not our fault that you all are renegers, and can't live up to an agreement like honest, ethical, and decent people do. But, again, you will find that out soon enough. In the meantime, you better get out and fly those planes junior! Or else you will be fired for malingering. And enjoy those sub par wages, after all, its your fault you have them. LOL

Excuse me? America West was Major carrier, as defined by the DOT when an airline has more than 1 billion dollars in revenue in one fiscal year.

Do your homework, we were a major. And...we weren't days away from liquidation like you were....

In the first half of 1990, America West was reclassified as a major airline by the United States Department of Transportation, and the company's sales rose as the airline carried 40 percent more revenue passenger miles than it had in the previous year.

I was there, you weren't, you guys were arguing about how you hated your management, or something, as you were beginning your sad decline into irrelevance.

Hey boeing boy. I have provided a link (Piedmont,Empire pilots) to show that you stood by and allowed airline pilots to be stapled to the bottom of a list you were on. You stood by and did nothing. Now you are on this message forum every day espousing.
Thanks for proving that Nosum has yet another screen name. It's not a big surprise, but confirmation is gratifying. Easties supporting you is the icing on the cake. Now all you have to do is quit lying to Pie.

Question....

Let's say the you agreed to a binding contract to buy a house and you sign on the dotted line. After that agreement, you find out that you had to give up much more than what was fair, due to a change in the contract language which was unforseen. (15 yr windfall, against ALPA merger policy). Then you find out that the whole contract was flawed from the beginning due to a misrepresentation in the contract...the house is in a flood plain. (bogus info as far as the Mid Atlantic pilots)

Would you go ahead...even though you invested $9 billion and honor this screwed up contract? Hell no.....you would demand fairness and a return for your investment if not able to cancel the whole contract.

What's next, Nosuma-pollo - "I rest my case"? It's sad that you have to keep changing your alias - can't take the heat and all that. Maybe I'll ask the mods how many names one poster can get... 😛

Still owning your A$$

I hear kirby was drunk on a flight and caused some kind of problem. parker dealt with it like he did with East pilots id theft. parker authorized a half million dollars worth of life lock coverage for the East pilots. Expensive rug to sweep dirt under.

Its not about agreeing to a binding contract to buy a house.

Its about Binding Arbitration, a long held practice in labor unions, with lots of history. You agreed, and you wussied out. And, you will get spanked for it. Apples and oranges. Not my fault you all were too stupid to trust your union, you should have spoken up THEN. Its your problem, life sucks, agreements mean things. So sorry, bye bye.... 😛

I hear that you kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

See how easy it is to lie on the internet?

Prove it, or STFU.

The Empire pilots? I love watching you scream to the mods coward.

You forgot something - "IMHO".

As I recall, you don't get to decide whether ALPA policy was followed or not. Neither do you get to decide what "fair" is - you agreed to let an arbitrator do that. The MDA guys? Screwed over from the start...by east pilots as much as anyone else. Who approved their contract - working east pilots. Who came up with "Who are these guys and why are they suing us?" - working east pilots. Who approved selling their jobs to Republic - working east pilots. Who didn't give a crap about them until the Nic came out - east pilots.

that's it...just duck the question. I would guess that a house buying contract has a longer history than labor disputes.

You mentioned Karma.....this is all about Karma and doing the right thing or not. Answer the question......would you go ahead and close on the house with a flawed contract? That is the bottom line.....as the seller of this garbage, I want to know your opinion. Obviously, you are biased in your response, since you have potentionally lost the sale of your property. (lottery ticket)

As far as Claxon's post, I would add....

So much criticism from ths West pilots over a temporary injunction, which seems to be more business as usual these days in pilot/management relations. At least the East pilots had the nerve to look Parker in the eye and draw a line in the sand up to the point of being all out illegal. The West pilots have their eyes downcast when Messiah Parker, or previous CEO's walk into the room. Their biggest hope it to be one of the 300 pilots that line up at management's door each afternoon, volunteering to help carry Dougie's money bags to the bank, so that he will lay a hand on them, tell them that they are a good boy, and buy them a beer. Money generated from the cheap labor contracts over the last 30 yrs.

Looking Parker in the eye got you what? More years on LOA 93, an injunction, and more distance between you and a contract. I swear if you guys had a touch of common sense and less emotion you'd actually be formidable. But that's only a dream.

And if anyone knows about cheap labor it's you. You guys have pretty much given up the entire farm looking CEOs in the eye.

I want to laugh at you but you're pathetic.
