Why not? You've been around long enough. You've seen how completely paralyzed USAPA is with it's own dysfunction. Why not let the West candidates try and steer this mess. Honestly, can they possibly do a worse job than Cleary/Mckee/Hummel? If you ever want a new contract...and maybe you don't. Maybe you're perfectly happy with what you have and perhaps you're fine with retiring on LOA93. Fine. However if you want a better contract you must know in your heart that Section 22 is GOING to be the Nic. award. USAPA is out of ammo, has no new ideas, and the enemy isn't going to back off an inch. So given that there is no way to ever change or "mitigate" the Nic. doesn't it make sense to accept that fact and move forward? It does to me. I would stop this self mutilation, elect competent leadership that actually has a plan to move forward.I think I'll vote for a West candidate. They are all so reasonable, polite, and so many of them have a servants heart. They would be great leaders.. to somewhere.
USAPA and the careers of Each US Airways pilot is completely out of control and in clear and present danger. Honest questions:
Do you really think McKee or Hummel can get you a DOH contract? Really? If so, how? And how long is the pilot group willing to wait?
IMO, the West candidates are an absolute no brainer. If I could vote, I would damn well vote for Ferguson/Koontz.
