US Pilots Labor Discussion

I think I'll vote for a West candidate. They are all so reasonable, polite, and so many of them have a servants heart. They would be great leaders.. to somewhere.
Why not? You've been around long enough. You've seen how completely paralyzed USAPA is with it's own dysfunction. Why not let the West candidates try and steer this mess. Honestly, can they possibly do a worse job than Cleary/Mckee/Hummel? If you ever want a new contract...and maybe you don't. Maybe you're perfectly happy with what you have and perhaps you're fine with retiring on LOA93. Fine. However if you want a better contract you must know in your heart that Section 22 is GOING to be the Nic. award. USAPA is out of ammo, has no new ideas, and the enemy isn't going to back off an inch. So given that there is no way to ever change or "mitigate" the Nic. doesn't it make sense to accept that fact and move forward? It does to me. I would stop this self mutilation, elect competent leadership that actually has a plan to move forward.

USAPA and the careers of Each US Airways pilot is completely out of control and in clear and present danger. Honest questions:

Do you really think McKee or Hummel can get you a DOH contract? Really? If so, how? And how long is the pilot group willing to wait?

IMO, the West candidates are an absolute no brainer. If I could vote, I would damn well vote for Ferguson/Koontz.

Do you east guys now get it? War remember... No compromise.. you should remember that the west wants to take your senority...Your weekends off. Your upgrades... 20 years here but they want you to be a new hire bidding PBS new hire blocks.
Don't you east guys get it? You'll be bidding the exact same relative seniority that you would have without the merger. That 17 year guy at the bottom of you list is still at the bottom of the list.

Trying to regain your seats and weekends off the backs of the west isn't going to happen.

Nic is coming.

Bring back ALPA?

Chip you are not near as sligh at instigating division, dischord, and disunity as E.F. and Uhaul but it's good to know what you are interested in.
No boo boo. The discord, division, and disunity is all you. How about some accountability?

If you look at all the campaign emails you've been getting, the mud-slinging is between easties.

All I do is point it out.

Like current USAPA VP who pushed the Secretary-Treasurer into a metal door frame?

No, he is not. The bottom guy in 2005 is now at 79% on the east list.

try 63% of the list on the 737.

that is the crux of the argument... Attrition baby.... and the east will not give it away without a fight.

The number I used is from the updated Nic list that a westie put out. It shows him @ 79% of the entire east list, if it is accurate and it looks close for me. Either way, MSU is out to lunch on it. But just wait, he will be here shortly to explain it away............

Open question:

Does anybody believe that USAPA is going to deliver them a DOH contract at some point in the future?

Different players, same mindset.

Wannabe thugs who think they can impose their will on a smaller entity.

That is a westie type blanket statement. Do you apply that to all candidates? All USAPA members? All east pilots? What?

There is a big difference in McKee, Sevier and Hummel, IMHO of course.
