US Pilots Labor Discussion

That is a westie type blanket statement. Do you apply that to all candidates? All USAPA members? All east pilots? What?

There is a big difference in McKee, Sevier and Hummel, IMHO of course.

Crap. There you go typing stuff that I agree with.

It's going to be a very interesting week regarding the results.

Randy Dopp's campaign message is similar campaign material to what Steve Bradford wrote 4 years ago when he was campaigning to get USAPA elected.

If McKee, Dopp, Borman, and Wright are elected as the union's officers I strongly believe we will have 3 more years like the last 3 years and possibly jeopardize a merger where we could become part of a worldwide, premier carrier that provides industry leading pay and benefits.

I believe USAPAWATCH is right when they said, "What is the old saying on the definition of insanity? We realize that accepting the Nic is no easy pill to swallow. In fact it is beyond repugnant for many of us. But what is harder to swallow is the thought that our friends and families will continue to suffer as we work under a miserable contract to the day we are forced to retire. The money we're forfeiting, the vacation memories that will never happen, and the decline of our general health can never be recouped. If you've already voted for names from the past, it's not to late to make a change. Sit down with your families this evening or make a phone call from the road and discuss your vote with those whom you love the most. They will understand and support you like no one else can."

The reason the pool has 66% that do not like the article is that probably only 3 pilots have voted so far with the column published a short while ago.

Here is how they're all exactly the same:

Elect ANY one of them, and you'll be on this board 3 years from now on LOA93, no negotiations scheduled, NMB not returning phone calls, and the Permanent Injunction will be an ever present reminder of the Easts' mass stupidity.

Mark my words.

Yep!

Yes, they all have different strategies on how to renege on the mutually agreed upon seniority arbitration.

McKee prefers the iron fist, Hummel the velvet glove.

The fact that they're "strategies"...if you can even call them that, aren't in line with Federal Law none of these guys is ever going to even get out of the starting gate to move USAPA fwd. Just like Cleary. Dead on Arrival.

Marked. And mark mine: Elect Ferguson and slate and we will be in the same or worse shape. The difference between you and me is that I hope I'm wrong, if they are elected I won't try to make my vision come true and if I'm wrong I will admit it.

Just curious. Have you actually talked to Hummel about the issues?

.... And while you are speaking with your family make them aware that the career expectations you had will never be realized, try and explain why that the block you were hoping to get, the captain upgrade or the move to bigger equipment will never happen.
