You're far outnumbered in posts because on inane east post generates 5 or so corrections. Remember the post you made about Music winning? Great example of a dumb post.

Oh, here ya go:

Stephen Whiting          59        8.01

Paul D. Music             343      46.54

Boo Boo,
Your stress is showing, and NO I will not nibble the bait ur trolling with.

1) For me personally? = Yes. As much derision as has been forwarded for that...I'm stuck with personal principal there. Fairness to discussion notes that I'm but a single vote.

2) I certainly can't speak for my fellows, but I'd think that would open up an opportunity for forward progress....again though; I'm guessing there, and offer no pretense as to knowing the minds of all others. It seems reasonable to me to assume that some have grown tired of all this insane infighting. I doubt that nearly enough are ready to surrender to nic though...and may well never be.

Not meaning to poke any sticks, but; would you not feel it reasonable to assume at least some on your side are sick of this situation as well?

East,

I think it's safe to say almost all of us are sick and tired of the situation. That being said, I think there is no shortage of funding or determination to see it through to the end of the court system.

On a separate note, I was pretty disgusted with USAPA's recent decision to overturn the Appeals Board election. More money to the lawyers....sigh.

Agreed on all counts. I especially considered the Appeals Board bit to be ridiculous, and it surprised me to see it happen. "More money to the lawyers" indeed...and for what?

Must bail for now. Have a good evening.

what makes you think Dougie won't just sell off the west to raise cash , make it work and or eliminate the issue?
Because I have read what the company filed in federal court, you know where they take the west's side? Well some of your smarter eastholes realized that a merger was coming from those filings.

I will answer....

1st of all, Silver could rule against the NIC.
That ruling will have no effect on the west being able to sue the east after a contract, in other words you lose on Silver's court even if you win
2nd......the NIC does not go into effect until a single contract is voted in.....therefore "our" say in the matter.
You think the amr pilot's can't vote the deal in by themselves? The west will force a representational election before a contract is signed, educate yourself.
3rd......with AA slotting, you guys will suffer the most, regardless of the NIC ruling, but only for 5 yrs until a bunch of us retire. As with the original arguement.....after a few more years, the airline will be yours......only now deluted by the 9000 AA pilots.
The west will be better off in any plausible outcome, from the Nic. to 3 separate lists, every situation is better for us than being hooked up to you scabs.

It will all come down to what Parker offers. He has always been in control and has lined his pockets with our dispute. You are a fool if you think Parker gives a rat's ### about you or me.

That i'll agree with.

LOL....I may as well be tryin to discuss this with a fence post.

Either way, Parker is in control, so relax, pal....and please drop the name calling.

Educate yourself, don't be an easthole. Any interested party can petition the nmb for single transportation system triggering a representational election

Go for it, if that makes you happy......apparently nothing else will.

We could call the new union FODASISM.

C'mon......you're gonna have a heart attack at 35 yrs old.

Bottom line is that we all have very little control in our futures at this point.

...."thinks he is witty, does that make him clever, or just a delusional idiot?"

You disappoint nic4us. Long ago, one could count on some degree of rational and civil input within your postings. Lately?...well...Perhaps some in depth discourse with your like minded peers would serve to provide answer to your question:

Mr "linguistic elegance" doesn't like movie quotes but tries to score points with "bevis and buthead".

Priceless.

I totally understand.....kinda like claiming that relative position is the new world order.
No, the new world order is something different.

Slotting by equipment and status was the basis of the last four pilot seniority arbitrations.

That is a true statement, however, due to different circumstances, only 2 of those "experiments" have totally worked out......not a proven science yet. So, you are only telling half a truth.

What comes to mind here is the TV advertisements by Southwest Airlines. They claim to have no bag fees yet in a lot of cases the passenger pays a higher ticket fee to ride on them. The passenger is fooled because SWA is the only airline advertising on TV and think they are getting a good deal. SWA saves money because they don't pay an Internet fee to sell tickets.

Just a shell game that you are playing, eh?

Our SLI has the potential of proving or disproving your theory. Time will tell.

Yep, I remember talking to an Alaska pilot that was pissed that Southwest was pummeling them on a certain route. He said people just assume Southwest is cheaper, but in this instance they were actually charging more than Alaska.
