Your so right MM, problem is Jetz and his ALPA boys represent all the RJ guys ( which are the majority) that will be taking the mainline jobs away from CAL/UAL. God, ' so glad we dumped ALPA.

I couldn't be more disgusted with ALPA representing the same pilots who profit by stealing my flying. I am all in favor of dumping RALPA in favor of an in house union.

When you go to ARBITRATION and the same UNION represents BOTH sides you think a conflict of interest just might be involved! MM! RELATIVE POSITION , SOCIALISM for airline pilots!MM!

Actually no!! You see I was a twice elected rep under a REAL union and I can tell you that we had several that hadnt paid dues in years and I for one would NEVER go after a persons career simply because he didnt believe in the union.

Traderjake, maybe you should reconsider where you get your unbiased facts from.

If you were there and you counted 100 pilots I stand corrected.

Do you really believe that walking in a circle with a sign on a stick is going to get us a contract sooner?

Are we going to get any sympathy from the public for a pay raise?

Mgmnt makes tons of money as a result of being neutral while the two pilot groups fight with each other. Sorta not much different than what ALPA was doing...? :blink: Given that, I suppose it should be no surprise that ALPAphiles were always trying to give more to mgmnt!

I used to watch local news while growing up. The various reporters would do their job, present the story to the audience; we would draw our conclusions based upon these "facts".

It was an illuminating moment in my youth when the local news reported "facts" about a topic that I knew a great deal about. Guess what? They did a ludicrous, botched job and were almost buffoonish in their misunderstanding of the topic on which they were reporting. I stopped listening to the local news entirely after that, as I knew it was a misinformed entity, incapable of understanding, let alone reporting "facts".

Thank you traderjake for bringing that "knowledgeable", "fact" filled report from "unbiasedfacts" to my attention. I used to actually give them credence in their underground reporting campaign and would read them when given the opportunity. It is now wholly evident to me that I have fallen into the same trap as watching local news growing up.

I have no idea if informational picketing helps get a contract one bit, but I have a feeling that Al Hemmingway has a clip board making notes of how many pilots publicly criticize it.

There is an arbitrated list, but said list will not be implemented without a joint contract. EAST will not vote in a contract with the NIC.
I would expect it would be about 10 years until enough east Leave for there to be a joint contract with the NIC voted in.. Sound familiar?
This PIG should be kept separate for 10 years and then we can move on....
