That's funny. I was just thinking that had not the AAA Negotiating team step away from the NC table, we woulld have had a contract offer to at least vote on and improve over a short time. Instead, seniority became more like a "a crew meal" and the chase was on for a Date of Hire seniority list (an obviously untenable position as referenced by the ninth's commentary). That said, we might already be working under better conditions (with NO restrictions....because final is final and binding is binding, afterall)
But we know the reason why we are all here: a handful of guys in a van decided that with the help of a law firm they would be able to vote out that bad old ALPA that is responsible for all of the AAA woes, and vote in a new idependent union that "represents all US Airways pilots"
