US Pilots Labor Discussion

Are you east posters still talking to yourselves?

Still have no clue of the situation you are in I see.

127 pages in this thread, and barely a West post in the last dozen? hhmmm...I must have missed a memo.

This thread is getting to be like walking around in circles in DCA .... nobody cares what a usapian thinks or says.

Did Cleary really call Parker a liar at the last management/labor meeting? That is rich.

If a liar accuses a liar of being a liar, who is the liar we are to believe? Oh, wait, I am sorry, maybe Cleary is not a liar, he actually could be a complete idiot instead.

Here is something a little more on topic, if you want to ask Parker a question, go to a crew news and ask him yourself. Man, you want the West to do everything for you, give you our seniority, our profit sharing, our crew news questions. How about for once you guys get a little integrity and try to earn something yourself instead of steal it from the West.

to 767one...I would say, stick around as long as you like. I wish you the best of health. Also, I hope that megamillions or powerball thing works out and you win the lottery a third time in five years.

Does th IAM, AFA, IBT have no strike clauses in their contracts? Just saying, cause if they do, they will walk right across a usapian picket faster than a furloughed eastie can steal a West pilot's job. You might want to try CHAOS instead..Coruption Harm Abuse Or Sleaze. They are all in the usapa toolbox.

I will let you east poster go back to talking to yourselves again. Have fun counting down the days until Nic implementation!

I guess this pretty much verifies that they didn't hear what they wanted. Oh, well. Sucks to be them.

I just want to say how proud am of USAPA, all involved, for their leadership in this whole TSA fiasco. I don't have to like the players or their politics, I don't even have to totally agree with their approach. But I think they are doing the right thing in principle. This was all we EVER asked of ALPA over decades of limpness with original security screening, drug testing, and so on...take a public stand for gosh sakes!

ALPA seems to prefer the back room approach..the one that has never worked without public words and actions by real unions and their pilot members. If ALPA does come up with a fix, I am sure it will mirror their latest success in pulling a "Babbitt" out of their hat on our work rules.

Good job also by USAPA Government affairs on the work rule cram down.

ALPA is the worst thing that ever happened to my career. Good riddance to them.

Right on RR, I agree, Glenn Beck and Hannity had it on tonight were on the pilots side big time. ALPA is no good!!!!!

Wrongo.

ALPA is just a HUGE parasite sucking the life out of the pilot profession.

The major news networks are all talking about USAPA and APA's stand against the new TSA screening procedures for crewmembers. No word from ALPA. I guess they're too concerned about collecting the cash to do something for their members.

Nice job Captain Cleary. You have shown more intestinal fortitude in one year than ALPA has shown in 50.

Court trial excerpts. Abbreviated.

THE COURT: So all the rulings and the jury trial
would be resurrected from the dead?
MR. JACOB: I believe that they would be.
THE COURT: Again, do you have any cases that
exemplify such a resurrection?

THE COURT: Do you have any cases that involve closely
analogous factual and procedural circumstances, that is, that
the ruling of this Court now, pursuant to the mandate, is that
there's no ripeness and the case is dismissed? So do any of
your precedents involve cases where ripeness has been found
lacking, judgment entered, and then later circumstances are
argued to create ripeness different from the circumstances that
led to the original judgment finding no ripeness and
dismissing? I'm looking for facts, cases with that procedural
context. Because looking through your cases, you cite a lot of
cases. I appreciate that. But I didn't really think I found
any that had -- that were horses of that same color and spots.

MR. JACOB: I don't have too much more to say. I
recognize that we're asking the Court to do something that I
couldn't find an example of a court having done before.

I was not planning on staying until past 62 but here I am approaching 63 and the oldest pilot on the property. I'm taking it trip to trip, day to day and powerball, megamillions ticket at a time!

Regards,

Bob
Let me see , what do I want ......two more years here or 60 million powerball ticket .....I think I'll stray just to keep the westies a little lower on the list.
