Michael Cleary. El Presidente de la USAPA.Who is the only pilot in history to regain his medical after a bipolar diagnosis?
Hey I had my hand up first!Michael Cleary. El Presidente de la USAPA.
Sorry. But at this point, it's almost a rhetorical question. Kinda like, "whose the craziest, most narrcasisstic nut case to ever get a pilots license"Hey I had my hand up first!
You've got 15 EMB-190s plus the three ATA 757s that can go away tomorrow. Eliminate those jobs (likely in the even more severe second dip we're entering) and recalculate. You'll be at at least a third retiring from the right seat, and 100% on LOA93.
Enjoy LOA93 and the re-downgrades
I see you were born yesterday. US Airways has no history ever of trying to shrink to profitability. You're right. Continue on. LOA93 and upgrades for everyone out East! Nevermind the dollar crashing, triple digit oil and forecast to go higher, ISM that is imploding, ....you're right...no need to shrink because hey...Robert Isom said so!I actually asked Robert Isom about the E190's at the last CLT crew news (not on camera). There are absolutely no plans to get rid of that aircraft in the near future (We still have options for 25 more).

For giggles, lets just say the company has to get rid of the 15 E190's. That is 137 pilots (Captains and F/O's on the latest July bid)
You and GG shouldn't give up your day jobs. The E190 check airmen, equip managers, etc need to be added in since they wouldn't be needed IF the 190's were sold. Call it 150 pilots total for a nice round number. GG's numbers include those already on long-term medical (no vacancy when they convert to retired status). You all do love to throw numbers around without really knowing what you're talking about...
Jim
BTW the 757's MIN FLEET numbers, also that little 30% EAST flying your doing would probably go back EAST, cost you know, plus where all the GROWTH and REVENUE are! Typical united pilot...every other pilots are valued more than us. I think you need to go tell Wendy that. I'd like to hear that converstaion in front of 1,400 furloughed united pilots. Your voice and your vote mean nothing to us because you don't have a job.I don't expect our furloughed pilots to be put ahead of ANY CO pilots that had a job at the time of our merger. (Even with double the years.)
I also don't expect to be ahead of other 767 f/o's who have less LOS at CO than I have at UA.
I also don't expect my DOH to give me 757 Captain seniority next to a CO pilot of my same DOH.
It is what it is, and the rising tide of this merger is beneficial to us all, regardless of how the SLI works out. I'm OK with the final outcome, even if it goes to binding arbitration. But that's just me. IMO real men will bargain their best case, keep their representatives accountable and in control, and accept whatever outcome results from those efforts, regardless of whether or not I like it. We reap what we sow.

Typical ALPA rehtoric.
Real MEN huh. Maybe thats why you have a WOMAN as the head of YOUR organization. She's more woman than any of your "pilots" are men put together.
Hows that JCBA going?? (not good from MY united sources).
Good luck.
