US Pilots Labor Discussion

The furloughs were coming back it's called a cycle.
You so funny. In 2005 US Airways was furloughing with no prospect of recalls even a glint in the eyes of management. That was the career expectation at the time of the merger. Plain, objective fact. Like Cleardirect said, that's what you brought to the merger. And as per the Nicolau award that's what you're entitled to.

AA #.............US#?..........AA#............US#?..............AA#.............US#?

I wouldn't pick either because by default I'll get the better of the two, where ever they may fall. As you'll recall, there were several USAirways furloughees flying for AWA and that's how they were dealt with.

We certainly wouldn't want you to have to accept a poor furloughed AA pilot fate...

How do you figure someone being told not to show up for work contributes anything? No, the furloughed pilots paid the price for their (and their fellow more senior pilot's) unwillingness to adapt to a changing industry and adopt pay and work rules in line with that industry. The reason the furloughed east pilots are back at work is because a successful airline was able to come in and finance a second try at evolution for them. The reason the west pilots are still on furlough is because the entire pilot group is too timid to eradicate USAPA and replace it with a union that will work to represent all US pilots.

Yea and your second biggest base is closed, now down to ONE and you have pilots on furough and you fly 24% East routes...what is your career expectation idiot!!!

Scoff as you like, but unlike you I have the integrity to accept the arbitration decision, come what may.

Clueless. I accepted it too, I just didn't have 2 to choice from. Resign from AA, then talk to me. Let's see you put your "AWA was all that" money where you mouth is.

And 3 of your 6 bases are closed.

They are not east routes they are US Airways routes. if we had 1/3 of the 190 flying like we're supposed to instead of the east stealing it the west would not have furloughed pilots. If the east pilots had the integrity to abide by binding arbitration.

You are talking about career expectations AFTER the merger. What was your career expectations WITHOUT this merger. I will leave out the insults see if you can do the same.

Been hitting the schnapps this evening? If you have a point it's drowned in your scorn and bitterness.

My having a number at AA is irrelevant. If by chance we merge with AA I support our seniority being decided by binding arbitration, come what may. Can you say that same? Heck, even if you did I wouldn't believe you.

Embarr ister- For most of AWA's history they had only one crew base. LAS was open for a while in order to eliminate the need for crews to occupy seats to LAS in order to operate red-eyes. Since the quilting bee that runs USAirways planning had never focused on trying to make money, they convinced Parker to eliminate LAS red-eyes and shutdown most of the PHX departures at 5PM on Saturdays. Is that the way they run things in Mayberry? Maybe Parker needs to split the so-called Heritage Circle up - back to the individual regional airlines. That was your career expectation wasn't it?

Seriously, think before you answer....

Can and or is judge Silver tasked with telling USAPA what seniority list to give APA if need be? Or is she tasked with determining what list the company should use in bargaining with USAPA to aviod a dfr?

What seniority list do you really believe will be given to APA from USAPA?

after the fact, when USAPA does not exist, who is Leonidas goin to sue for DFR?

Just a few unaswerd questions, i'd like to get cleared up for us all....
