Who is Tired of the east constant negativity

Guess fly does not realize that the PHL is the number 1 revenue generating city and profit for US.
 
???? why was usairways in BK so darn long.. we were in bk the first time for 6 months.. they couldnt get it right the first time. so they went back.. because they didnt get enough concessions the first time around.. what does that have to do how good a product we had..
 
Not going to feed into this whole debate, but for those of you who have access to Dougs meetings on theHub or Compass, you might want to check out the INT RES meeting on Apr 19 and the CLT C/S meeting Apr 18 and take a listen. Then you'll get the info on why many of us on the East have problems with the way things are going. Seems like some people arent getting the full story out West about how things are going on the East side and according to Dougs own words, the migration was "a disaster".

Yes the old usairways is dead but the employees that ran that (non legacy, rustbucket or whatever some call it) east coast airline will be here by the THOUSANDS and will NOT deal with what some are telling us to put up with simply because the west folks DEALT with it. If we are negative and ya don't like it it's ONLY gonna get louder. Tempe is reallizing that they are NOT going to be able to get away with what they did with America West. It's a different ballgame AAAAAALL TOGETHER! ! ! !


Couldn't agree with you more....I'm embarrassed to come to work anymore! Even through 2 BK's and bad times in the past USAirways STILL was a great Airline fallen on hard financial times with employees that had the compassion to keep their Airline alive! I had thought during those times that our service, product, and reputation could not get any worse....UNTIL NOW! We've become AmericaWest with the USAirways name and it really shows. The "west" employees will not ever understand where the "east" employees have come from and what we've been through that's obvious. But for us "east" employees this has been a TOTAL nightmare of a transition, with nothing but MORONIC decisions being made on a daily basis! We can only HOPE that they (Tempe) get their act together before it's too late! B) Oh and by the way, this is not a negative post, it's reality viewed from an "east" employee! :rolleyes:

Don't really want you to understand where the east has been......The east vs west issue is pretty much over at this point.....was only trying to clarify why the "east" employees may seem soo negative to the "west" employees.....Don't forget the east side transitioned from a "Full Service" Airline to a "Low Cost Carrier" to fit in with AWA.....so the changes have been drastic to see! The only thing that will HELP the East/West situation is GOOD MANAGEMENT SKILLS! :up: And we're STILL waiting on that one!

You get on this board and all you heard is BI&&& BI&&& from the east you people are never happy. Something good happens to the company and you BI&&& something positive you BI&&&. And it is the same people all the time if you hate this company so much then leave. If you are afraid of losing your flight Bens. then book early as a non employee it will most likely be cheaper than all the suffering you are goin through now. You complain about the most stupidest #### like trash bags a coat closets. Man you all need to get a grip the old Usaitways(USair)is never coming back welcome to the bottom where AWA been for years do your job get your check and forget about this place when you go home all of this BI&&Hing will only cause alot of stress. The West is not perfect but we know #### aint going to change(been there done that for years before you had to start to suffer the west have been doing for years)


If it hurts your eyes to see legitimate complaints then you need to go somewhere else. Quit trying to make this forum into anything other than what it is.

All I see from macaroons like you is brown-nose porn and cries of "please let me have more 'lube for my tube'".

Perhaps the rest of the employees will wake up and accomplish something the root beer people have yet to do, actually make this place a good place to work. Perhaps not. Until then you will always be in your own private heck whilst here.

It's not East people being negative to West people. It's a reaction to West mgmt's ways of doing things.

And wasn't whole idea that the combined company would be a "hybrid" of a full service airline and low cost cost one?


I guess we found out what Tempe's idea of a "Full Service" airline is.... :huh: "Low Cost" they definitely understand! :up:
 
for those having trouble coming into work should look for other higher paying jobs. I think you are in one of the lowest paying fields and there are better less stressful jobs out there that pay more money. Find and new job and happiness - the grass is greener somewhere else.

it has taken me a while to answer sky highs question of name 5 things done right by this company.

1. continue to fly US instead of allowing it to shut down
2. great e-mail confirmations with upgrades - don't have to call to get upgraded
3. allow to add entire family to website to make family reservations easier
4. continued expansion to Europe and the islands - plus trying to expand to Asia
5. new uniforms.
