"alot"? How much is that?
You are not going to tell me that PSA crews call in sick/no show/go out of their way to screw the pax and/or company any more than anybody else are you? C'mon!

I work with express and mainline crews every day the reliably rate for express is far less then mainline. There is a big difference between mainline and express we all know what that is……….don’t fool your self*sigh*
Typical flamebait that I normally wouldn't respond to, but today I've got time.
My sarcasm detector is MELed so this may not be needed, but here goes anyway...
By this logic, the less one is paid, the poorer a job they do. The higher paid people do a better job. While money can be a way to motivate some people, it is not an all encompassing "cure-all". While I would never act against company policy and identify myself as a US Airways employee on a public forum, I can speak from first-hand experience that PSA employees as a whole are a dedicated work force. They work hard day in and day out to keep the operation moving as smoothly as possible.
Because I make X% less than a mainline captain, does that also equate to doing a X% worse job? Of course not, I take my job just as seriously and treat the customer with just as much respect. Will mainline employees do a Y% worse job because their pay/retirement/benefits etc has been decreased by Y%? Maybe you can ask them if you want to know, but I don't think it will. If so, this company is doomed. I believe in a workforce that continues to do its job even if they are not the highest paid, do you?
I can think of a few people who were paid a whole lot of cash and did a very little good at all...Wolf/Gangwal/Seigel to mention a few.

I believe part of the reliability problem can be attributed to the sheer volume of flights (more frequency, smaller a/c) transitting through LGA, PHL and other airports that had long been mainline jet strongholds. It is inevitable to have ramp, gate, loading, offloading, baggage....delays. Oh yes, and weather too. Just read other threads to see the damage that the Philly factor alone wreaks on the system.I guess I was wrong? all of these express carriers are very reliable? I guess in my station they just have problems.
Piedmont Airlines/ Allegheny Airline
PSA
Colgan Air
Chautauqua Airlines
Mesa Air
Trans States Airlines
Shuttle America
Air Wisconsin Airlines
What is the difference between express carriers and mainline carriers to make express carriers more unreliable or am I and the rest of the poster wrong about express reliability
Bottom line, people for the most part do the best job they can with the tools they are given to work with.
zactly!
We fly passengers from point A to Point B and express carriers are less reliable than main line. And the only big difference is pay,Average employees age, A/C, and the size of the operation is smaller (at least for now) THE TOOLS ARE ARIPLANES. RJ's and props in your option are not good ?
