Yes or no for the IBEW?

Our network reported that it was management that followed the IBEW reps around in CLT but that at least 2 IAM loyalist tracked down the managers and one even followed behind the managers. So, indirectly you're correct, IAM loyalist had the IBEW thrown off the property by going to management. Our network has the names of the IAM loyalist who turned their back on workers and went running to management. The network forwarded the names to the IBEW people so the workers in CLT can know who 'ratted out & cheezed" on the union people.

Awesome great to know Tim!!

Tim,

Straight out… I’m Pro-Money. I don’t care if it IAM, IBEW, Teamsters, League of Women Votes, or Doug Parker. Someone who gives me the same “bankrupt contract†you have has my support.

Frankly, those that do NOT have my support are those who continue to hold a sizable pay raise and benefits package as hostage to their own objectives, especially if it means them not be harmed as a result. This idea of East being able to vote upon a West pay raise and to use it as a negotiation point is demeaning and will certainly drive a wedge between myself and anyone else.

My wife is working a horrible job with lousy pay in a dangerous part of the city going to work well before most people’s automatic coffee machine kicks on for one simple reason… health insurance. So it grates me to no end when I read about company benefit enrollment time for dependents, but alas, I am not eligible because I am part-time and forget working here full-time under West’s paltry contract! I would need to sell the house to afford working for US Airways West full-time! When I see those obstacles from you, the IAM, East, and Management it only drives a deeper chasm between me and those groups.

Looking for unity while tying West for years to a POS expired contract will not lead to support later when you really need it.

everyone shhh the bagfather is trying to speak ...... lol

hello bagfather , welcome , love the screen name .

Dear Mr Jester: If the IAM would have opened up section 6 negotiations in a timely manner you would currently have a contract with the money you disserved. Remember we in the west have the right to strike. It could happen in a short amount of tiime. But the allegence and resources
of our union are elsewhere. I'm appealing to you and the others like you in LAS to pressure your reps to start section 6 and when you see how futile this is you will start to think about other options. I do appreciate your position however but to vote for a TA with so much blatent deception
was something I couldn't do....thanks...GF

Disclaimer: Although The Bagfather appears to be stating mere opinions It should be known he speaks for all and should be taken as the final truth..thank you..GF

Well, well, well,
First off the old saying ''The sound of silence is deafining'' apllies tonight. Alot of
people including myself were looking forward to hearing Mr. Canale speak. Alot of people includ-
ing myself were looking forward to the oppurtunity to release our frustrations verbally if not
physically on the IAM. Well, well, well, we were given the oppurtunity to do something better.
We stood as a UNION, we stood as ONE. Tonight under the guidance and overall recomendation
of the workforce we asked Bob Boland (pres. of 1176) to speak for us in a more civil tone than
any of us could probably put forth. With that Bob asked Canale three questions....1. Do you feel
that this TA was a good agreeement even now ?.......2. Seeing how it was voted down overwhelmingly
do you feel you owe this membership an apology ?..........3. Seeing how the membership has voiced
thier concerns will you listen and apologize for the proposal you brought back ?.....Canale after taking
off his coat and attempting to roll up his sleeves sat down waited for Bob to finish and without blinking
an eye responded .." Do I think this agreement was a good choice ''YES''. ..With that Bob said I think I've heard enough. The UINION the workforce stood as ONE and exited the hall to continue the meeting
without the members , we felt didn't belong. We stood outside of the hall we pay dues to finance ...we
stood outside of the union we are a part of and realized the hall is just a structure the title union will
follow wherever WE go. We are the union ,we are the whole. We ate food from the flat bed of a pick
up truck and it might as well been served on a white table cloth with a bottle of Dom on the side.
People were talking and shaking hands , people who had nothing in common now joked and talked
with each other as if they were old friends. We owe you some thanks Randy, you reminded us of what
we use to and should be...A UNION. Only through your arrogance and lack of careing did you awaken
us, and for that thanks. Now its time for you to move on...My thanks to the people of PHL youv'e re-
instilled my hope. We blew out the perverbial IAM candle with one ''silent'' blow....Thanks to all of you.
..............ohhh and BOB BOLAND my sincerest thanks . You questioned this TA from the start and
despite being the pres. of the local you voiced your displeasure to the proposal and answered any and
all questions. Bob the union is not the IAM ,the union is the people and youv'e always seen that. Thanks
again to everyone. I stand with you, be it inside a hall or around a barrell with a fire lit...and finally a
thanks to the IBEW your reps outside the hall are all good guys...Really, usually theres' one or two, people may question but the guys aking me to support the IBEW are all nice respectable guys in the work place........so thanks for being there.

Thanks

Also, video was to be taken and placed on YouTube tonight but the video dude had a 'dud' battery. I heard Joe was going to bring a video camera also but I haven't talked to him. It would have been one heckuva feature to watch if the battery wasn't a no go.

Imagine my surprise (!) a PHL fleet service agent bringing a dead video camera battery to a major event! (what an idiot{again, PHL agent}) Funny, there wasn’t any video of the alleged TWU attacks either.

Go now thee brothers and sisters and sign those IBEW cards as fast as they can be printed!

Bob Boland is the IAM president of 1776 but he was never one of Canale's boys. Bob is a very educated guy, bright, and has always stayed on the side of the worker. Many a times the IAM tried to push things through in PHL's local like they push things through in PIT's local, but Bob would ALWAYS stand with the workers and not once have I ever heard of him kissing the IAM's butt.

I sincerely hope you can pick up 1500 PHL IBEW cards this week. We have had workers network in and ask for info on the IBEW.

Just curious, how many of you all
1) attend union meetings
2) are actually involved?

JMHO, changing unions will not change the membership.
If you still have the same membership and expect different results then you have qualified as ‘stupid’ to repeat the same experiment over and over expecting different results.

Good Luck

the Pruitt wanna-be, (CLT {?} ) agent Mack Crawl? We understand he's not as
sharp as the dimwitted Pruitt was!

Answer me Tim,
