Thought for today!

Trivia question for you...when was the term "concentration camp" coined?

What difference does it make? In our modern time anyone with half a brain would connect that term with its most recent association, That would be Nazi concentration camps.

Or are you bending yourself into a noodle to prop up an millennial bartender turned political hero?

Yeah....it's also an example of just how badly rust belt workers have given up. Oh...Trump brought them jobs, jobs, jobs....and it's a good thing that he brought so many jobs because those once proud workers need to work TWO jobs...and still don't come close to what they used to have. BUT....for 40 years, Republicans have been convincing the working class that EVENTUALLY you are going to get trickled on. But for now they laugh, zip up their pants and head to the country club for a round with the boys. Because THAT is the most "trickle" they are going to get.

The two job thingy was a result of Obama's excellent economic policies and a job stimulus created by Obamascare, which made people seek a second job to help pay the cost of the mandated HC requirement. Why is it there are more jobs than workers now and that wages are up compared to the Obama era? Notice all the Black and Latino's at the Trump 2020 kickoff rally?? What, you didn't see them on MSM, did you?

Well..let's see...for 10 years, you guys have been electing Republicans who were running on saving you from the burden of that "work two jobs to pay for healthcare". And they did....nothing. In fact....they seem content to tell you all to "deal with it" for the next couple of years because they are NOT going to do anything about it until after the 2020 election. So keep that second job because republicans have decided to trickle down on you just a while longer.

The term "concentration camp" was first coined by the Spanish in the late 19th century, when the Spanish army in Cuba rounded up civilians in these camps to fight guerrilla armies in the area. Shortly after this, the US used concentration camps in the Philippines.

Hard to get in on the action when we have to pass it so you can't see what's in it.

Well...they've had 10 years to review it, but they only ever tried to repeal it. Your dear leader ran and promised you "something great". Then he had a Republican congress, that had 7 years to develop this great plan that he was sure the Republicans MUST have had, only to find that they didn't have anything, then came up with a much smaller bill that the OTHER side would have to read to see what was in it, but wouldn't let them read it. So he pulled the vote and told you to wait until after the 2020 election.

But here's the thing. Some Republicans had a problem with social security when it was passed. They didn't have to repeal it to tweak it. And some Republicans, including St Ronnie, were opposed to Medicare. And they didn't have to repeal it before they tweaked it. But they don't even TRY to tweak Obamacare. And here's the kicker....this great plan that Trump was touting? It needed to cover preexisting conditions. Obamacare does that. And it has to allow families to keep kids on it thru college. Obamacare has that. There's this "money saving" feature they'll want to have, but rather than work on that, they told you to keep paying those outrageous premiums for two more years. With no promise of what they'll do.....other than run against Obamacare in 2020.

Trump will have all the time in the world to fix it.
