WTF, your union gives eagle employees doh at american?

Man, thats BULL S$#T! I cant even get my part time to count.

That said, lets get this contract done and handle seniority between the unions quickly whether it pisses me off or LAA off.

regards?

Obviously you missed the part where I said *all* AMR Subsidiaries.Eagle was what? A wholly owned subsidiary of who? AMR.

AMR Services,AMR Eagle...see the trend here?

As for your PT seniority not counting, not an issue. You get one occupational date, not one for PT, another for FT and yet another for CC.

JFK, are you saying that CC,s at LAA bid by the date they became a CC?

When a member becomes a CC in Fleet he retains the same occupational seniority systemwide that he had as a clerk.

CHICAGO, Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) today agreed to commence contract negotiations more than one year ahead of the scheduled amendable date of their agreements. These negotiations, which cover nearly 30,000 United employees, are expected to proceed on an early and expedited basis.

"Working together with the IAM, United is moving forward to deliver industry-leading contracts for our IAM-represented employees well ahead of the normal bargaining schedule," said Mike Bonds, United's executive vice president of Human Resources and Labor Relations. "This is one of several positive steps we've taken recently to demonstrate our firm commitment to our people."

As part of this agreement, United has extended through Jan. 15, 2019, its commitment not to contract out work currently performed by the IAM-represented group at all hub and station airport locations.

very happy for our united brothers and sisters. Finally it appears as if management has opened its eyes over there. Unfortunately, everyone is talking negotiations but our two headed union is stalling over higher up union squables.

Tim you keep saying that they are squabbling or fighting? Once and for all if you know something, spill the beans?

BTW you know the "Regards" comment makes me sure that you were "Josh" It's kind of weird how on Forums you always put that in but not on your FB comments.

DOH with any AMR subsidiary carried over to AA,occupational seniority begins the day you begin at AA.

There are quite a few guys that started at AMR Services in the 80's,came to AA in early 90's.They bid VC with their AMR DOH,shifts with the occupational  date.

When the international cleans out the ATD and spends the next six months replacing them BEFORE negotiations start ....

well, if they arent squabling then will it make you feel better if i said they are taking a friendly stroll in the woods?

The reality is that they said they are still preparing. That means the two intl bosses havent agreed or found resolution. Disappointing indeed.

undergarments,
I don't know if they're squabbling Tim? You're the one who continues to make that claim. So spill the beans. Who's squabbling?

Watch it! when you say "still preparing" it makes it sound like they are doing something constructive and making progress

Ok, they are hissing and fussing. That's my conclusion since they still aren't prepared. You got any better suggestions for why they aren't at the table?

What we can say with certainty is that they are still not prepared. That's the official from them last week. So, if they aren't prepared then what exactly are they doing other than squabbling over petty things?

I agree, but it's kinder than to say they are not doing anything at all. Whatever the case, they aren't prepared. Disappointing.

Nooo...your occupational seniority date.If you spend 15 years as a PT'er,then get tired of getting reamed and become a CC, you are a CC with 15 years.
