I know in PHX we have, at least, one person in Ops who was downgraded to the ramp with the merger between US and AW, and kept all his seniority which is pretty close to 20 years, and I don't think he paid any union dues during most of that time.  So something like what you described wouldn't be the first time.
 Mainline agent is one thing Eagle is another unless of course that has been the LAA policy

This issue, if true, opens up a huge can of worms. Agreed to enhanced moving expenses being posted is news to me. Enhanced moving expenses could be the tip of the ice burg. The bigger issue Is seniority recognition within the existing CBA. Is this an agreement behind closed doors? An agreement not effectively communicated to the members? An agreement reached without a membership vote? The beat seems to go on; regardless of changes in leadership. Hmmm!

as you know, there was a letter of agreement. The iam never posted the loa and i was told "i cant tell ya' by an agc as he only told me the highlight that they announced, ie, enhanced moving cost. Id like to read it as i dont believe the few folks i talk to in clp are lying. They claim they contacted their agc but???

What was in the move package? who would give up seniority for anything.I understand the IAM does nothing but if this is true  the IAM is actually working against dues paying members. For those at LAA that dont understand a large part of the LUS workforce has adjusted dates not date of hire
 
David Virella is retiring. sean doyle and gary drummond are out soon. so the international owns the contract so will probably have to be replaced BEFORE we start negotiations adding another six months to the process. cheers folks!
 
DOH with any AMR subsidiary carried over to AA,occupational seniority begins the day you begin at AA.
 
There are quite a few guys that started at AMR Services in the 80's,came to AA in early 90's.They bid VC with their AMR DOH,shifts with the occupational  date.

Exactly...There are a few I always bid my shift/days off before and they bid their VC before me. I have no problem with it.
Oh, and if I get up early enough or find the app john john is in search of and get listed, it doesn't matter what my DOH or OCC is, I get on first.  🙄

If you knew a train wreck was coming and there was nothing you could do to stop
it plus you know the blame will be aimed directly at you, wouldn't you want to get
the hell out of Dodge?

WTF, your union gives eagle employees doh at american?

Man, thats BULL S$#T! I cant even get my part time to count.

That said, lets get this contract done and handle seniority between the unions quickly whether it pisses me off or LAA off.

Again, I think you nailed it.
They don't have the stomach for what's coming down the pike for us.

I would love to be able to point to something, anything the Association has done that has been good for us, but haven't found a thing yet.
Little help here from the pro association folks, where's the beef?

Truly disappointing. While it is too early to consider the Association as a very damaging entity, the forecast does seem to agree with you and others. The longer we go with the Association costing us $925 a month, the more disappointing.

You just answered your own rhetorical question. The association as an entity hasn't done anything yet. So to search for any result when no action has been taken is illogical. You are looking for something that has happened.
