Why do you think there were three of them this time genius ?
Because you have demonstrated that your incapable of keeping your word & your incessant whining about the how the Nic wasn't "fair". There were 3 bodies on our merger panel, AND two of those were actually airline pilots.

With the same result, a panel of nine arbitrators wouldn't be enough for your entitled minded group....Genius.

Generally well.  The list remains on Mr. Parkers desk, and has NEVER been legally determined as "bad".  "The Jess" will be presented to the Arbitration Board, and then the other two parties will make their cases.  The Nicolau is only a "complete failure" in your eyes.  That doesn't make it wrong, incorrect, or illegal.  He DID end it as he was tasked to, he gave 517 slots to East pilots.  He slotted / ratioed the rest of the EMPLOYED pilots.  The furloughed pilots were place on the bottom.  America West had NO FURLOUGHED pilots.  Pretty simple stuff.

See fellow APA brothers: DAVID SIMMONS thinks it's ok to advance themselves ahead of your furloughed, no matter the LOS difference. This is that entitlement attitude of the west that legacy east has been dealing with the last 8 years. They think it's ok to cut in line, the hell with seniority. Earn your position jackass, rather than being gifted it by an idiot arbitrator.

It has been completely worth it to keep your group in PHX and out of east cockpits.

You will learn in the end that even a pyrrhic victory is still a victory none the less.

No one lied to you little princess. The east excercised it's option, not to vote on a jcba. That's why you didn't get your lottery ticket NIC. Scott Kirby referred to the Nic as a lottery ticket to the west, their problem is the east wouldn't let them cash it in.

As evidenced, there was a contact on the table for 6 years. USAPA / East chose to not accept the contact because of the attempted evasion of the arbitrated seniority.
That means that body chose to not take the improved wages & contract improvements. That party by choice is the CHEAT. Pretty simple stuff.
That's the part you don't seem to get...

Life is about choices... Let's see A) do I take tha meager pay raise and never, ever move up in seniority till my pay check ends, because my career would be over with the implementation of the nic.
Or B) defer the raise till someday in the future while I get raises from moving up in equipment with each and every bid since the 65's started retiring.

Hmmm, so simple everyone except a westy can understand....

Ol'nic must grin each and every time he realizes the easties deferred his award to better themselves, all the while giving the westies exactly what everyone else in this industry had...

There DOH... Nic knows who the better group is.. He isn't as stupid as his award indicated.

He just wanted to see how bad we really wanted our DOH...

He must bring everytime he hears of the westies tantrums.... Kinda like your stepsisters kids over the holidays.... Partly tolerable....

Sorry, that was spell checker...
Not me partying...however it is sat and I'm not on a transatlantic trip...I may start the party now.
Here is a toast to the westies and their most excellent crew news party...

A toast to the mighty A330 and a captains check.... "I'm fat stack'n Benjimins" thanks ole Nic!

Amen there was not enough money on the table to offset years of seniority hit, never would be ,they voted it away, we gave up change of control and scope, I luv how they cry persacution , waiting to attrition and upgrade was more lucrative on loa93 than accepting an obviously flawed award that never took length of service into account, oh it is a do over, ! Luv that bid!

They need to take a good look in the mirror, when they copied sealed documents given to another source to help a beneficially joint contract and use it for their lottery ticket, what goes around well, they get it! MM

Are you confusing the pilot neutrals with arbitrators? They only gave opinions. Hint one was not favorable. You might want to read it. You are just pizzed you agreed to a process that had a major hole it and now you have buyers remorse,. Now get some integrity and live up to your agreement. You did to yourself.

In YOUR UNIVERSE.  When you agree to a process & product of that process, you are BOUND by that process.  It's the same UNIVERSE that places 517 AAA pilots in front of the #1 America West pilot.  It's called FINAL & BINDING ARBITRATION for a reason.  So basic in terms of INTEGRITY, that you should get it.

Cry us a river, Boo.  The Arbitration Panel will look at "the Jess", and then look at the other two arguments.  Gee, I wonder what decision they will deliver?

When a party REFUSES to abide by the word that their bargaining agent agreed to, that makes that party a CHEAT, a LIAR, and a THIEF.  Further, the new "union" chose to persecute the smaller pilot group by any and all means.  That makes that party CONTEMPTABLE.

You & your ilk will be held accountable at some time.  In this existence or in the next.  The AWA pilot group has simply been forced to defend our delivered seniority, and attacks on our pilot group.  Wave your little flag for the delay you have gained.  It has cost us all dearly.

Congratulations on your bid victories.  Your ill gotten seniority fortune is just that.  Delay, delay, delay.
You need to quit hitting the sauce so early choir practice is about to start, OBTW, you'll have to catch me in the next life our future is so bright we have to wear shades, SUNSKI, man they are great!

After watching the PHX crew news video, I'm afraid that the West will not be happy for a very long time.

It's only my opinion but it certainly appears that they actually believe that they will end up on top, and they want our WB left seats yesterday. IT issues that will keep them from bidding over are REALLY pissing them off, however they will take the 777 capt pay protection, just to heal.

An FO even stood up to declare that he will be loosing $7000 per month by being denied his rightful left seat. Talk about putting the cart before the horse.

It will be late fall of 2016 before the single flight operating system is in place, hence the delay of whatever list comes out is implemented. I'm all for tall fences, it's more efficient.

Spoken from a LAA seniority member and perspective....

You westies keep on keeping on....I think your doin a bang up job of swaying folks to your side,,,,

Lol!!

2000 hire Simmons was headed for furlough himself after 9-11. Newcomer Simmons has no problem stealing the careers of those hired a decade or more prior to him, and lost their jobs due to an unprecedented event. Do not stand for this coward and his cry of INTEGRITY. His job was in jeopardy as well. Others not so fortunate were sent to the streets after the 9-11 attacks. Simmons is an opportunistic fanatic he merely wants to steal your position.

'I think about it every single day'
Although he lives in Lebanon, commercial airline pilot David Simmons routinely flies 737 passenger jets out of Springfield.

He recalls being hired on an auspicious date -- Sept. 11, 2000.

"On my one-year anniversary with the company I watched those horrible events happen," Simmons said. "The moment I saw that second plane, I knew there's no way this could be an accident."

Subject: Without the merger, America West.....with fuel prices high and industry capacity in excess, we (like most of our industry) could also face bankruptcy if those fundamentals dont change.

America West Airlines Inc. 10-K For 12/31/04
2005 Outlook

We continue to face considerable challenges in 2005, including competing with legacy carriers that, through a variety of restructuring mechanisms, have reduced labor wages, extended debt maturities and lowered their overall cost per available seat mile. These actions could cause AWAs cost advantage to diminish.

In spite of our diligent work to contain our costs, we believe revenues will continue to reflect the excess capacity that exists across the domestic system and fuel prices will remain at, or exceed, record highs. Given these conditions, we anticipate significant losses for full year 2005.

what is even more hilarious is when they printed their NIC never put in a JCBA never would list for WEST pilots they would use an ADJUSTED SENIORITY DATE, hilarious, theirs was adjusted up 17 to 11 years while EAST stayed the same in other words your 96 hire date is now 84 and they wonder!
