Fraudulently inflate the value...sounds like the claim that Airways bought America West and moved their HQ to Tempe. They set up the Cactus 18, accused our pilots of ID theft which went nowhere. APA beware who you are dealing with and they are not to be trusted.

Criminal minds=Usapians
 They are fully aware.

At least the term minds is properly involved...Which can hardly be applied to "you'se"...

No matter really. Have all the continured fun in PHX/Fantasyland that you kids can manage.

Rob Streble, USAPA Treasurer claims his daughter opened the USAPA mail and found it. Was it bring your tween daughter to work day? Crap case and lost twice. Total BS.

The appeals court noted:

It is no surprise, then, that the conduct USAPA alleges

closely resembles conduct we have found not to demonstrate

continuity after H.J. Inc. See, e.g., GE Inv. Partners, 247 F.3d

at 549 (finding no continuity where the defendants’ "single

goal" was to fraudulently inflate the value of and then sell

their controlling interest in a company); Menasco, 886 F.2d at

684 (finding no continuity where "[d]efendants’ actions were

narrowly directed towards a single . . . goal," "involved but

one set of victims," and took place over a relatively short

period of time).

Because the appropriate "commonsensical, fact-specific"

examination of the allegations in USAPA’s complaint fails to

yield a pattern of racketeering activity, USAPA has failed to

state a cognizable RICO claim. See Menasco, 886 F.2d at 684.

Accordingly, the district court did not err in granting the

defendants’ motion to dismiss the complaint
Like I said...
And of course we haven't had any cases of swiches intentionally left out of position, cockpit windows unlocked, snot on the side stick, disparaging messages in the logbooks, etc. etc. etc.

You repeatedly claim the high road, but actions speak louder than words.

Hey knucklehead, are you going to argue with respected financial publications such as Bloomberg?

Company Overview
As of September 27, 2005, US Airways Group, Inc. was acquired by America West Holdings Corp. in a reverse merger transaction. US Airways Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates a network air carrier. Its subsidiary, US Airways, Inc. (US Airways) engages in the transportation of passengers, property, and mail. As of December 31, 2004, its subsidiary operated 281 jet aircraft and 22 regional jet aircraft; and provided scheduled service at 89 airports in the continental United
Actually, the gentleman doesn't have to argue with a writer from Bloomberg. It was Mr. Kirby who stated that he had a problem with the word "acquired" in response to a statement from a west pilot in the recent PHX video.

At a meeting of airline chiefs and federal officials to discuss an industry bailout, Mr. Parker, 39 at the time, remembers having to raise his hand when government officials asked if any companies were in immediate danger of insolvency. "America West has two weeks," he told them.

After being turned down twice, the airline got the first government loan guarantee, and the $429 million it was able to borrow kept it alive. Still, the company has piled up a cumulative loss of about $670 million over the past four years.

Remember this..

West Pilots do not recognize either USAPA or the East Pilot Merger Committee as the West Pilots’ representative in any capacity, other than what remains to recover each US Airways pilots’ individual share of dues and assessment monies held in trust by the officers of the FBA.

Keep beating your head against the wall for all I care. It won't change what happened in 2005.

Doug Parker led America West Airlines (Phoenix) that acquired bankrupt US Airways (merged and adopted the name) and then acquired bankrupt American Airlines (merged and adopted the name).

More unfounded allegations. You'd think when that playbook didn't work the first time around, you'd learn.

"Beating your head against the wall"? Are you joking? It would seem that you have your own altered concept and perception of reality that is not shared by any others than your friends and cohorts and definitely not by the men running the company and privy to the mergers facts.

I have 84 posts in eight years in all forums. You have 3900. Three thousand nine hundred in just this forum alone! Who has been "beating his head against the wall"?
