You and your little AFO club will be placed right where the 04' group should be and wait your turn. Have you seen the APA list?
The LAA pilots do not seem to agree with the methodology of west pilots. There will not be an east west first policy. There is absolutely no language in MB that supports that. Instead, the architect of that is placed around 14000 on the LAA list. Yes, Vasin. That is the spot intended for you and Ferguson. The LAA pilots will not allow the younger and junior west pilots to ladder up using east pilots.
Three way means just that west pilots. Refer to your past knowledge of three way. Perhaps the self righteous Dave can refer you to his collection for a quickie refresher.

Another post from the Brian Williams of these forums.

The LAA pilots may not agree with the West proposal and I am seeing on the C&R's they have some disagreement the East, especially in the realm of seeing US as equals to AA. I hate to break the news, I'll bet there is a good chance they prefer the APA's proposal over USAPA's.

A couple of comments from LAA...

1)

I was just chatting with a friend of mine from United and he was relaying the conversations they had when merging with Continental. During the conversation the topic of "Merger or Equals" came up and as we talked a few things came to mind. Before I start I'll say that the guys at USAir both east and west are probably very good people, pilots and have deserved a better career than they've had, like the rest of us. But the english language is a funny thing and people manipulate it often for their own means.  As I read the opener from USAPA it struck me that their entire premise was based on the STATEMENT that we were a MERGER of EQUALS so let's exam this because their entire seniority model is based on MERGER OF EQUALS...What does it mean to be MERGED with an equal? Equal in terms of what???

Size? NOPE
Revenue? NOPE
Aircraft? NOPE
Wide Body Flying? NOPE
International Flying? NOPE
Employees Size? NOPE
Route Structure? NOPE
Career Expectations? NOPE
Corporate Infrastructure? NOPE
Name Recognition? NOPE
Global Reach? NOPE
Cash on Hand? NOPE
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PILOT PAY----NOPE

In every way this wasn't a merger of equals (airline equals anyway) not by any measure. Do we therefore get to "screw" the other team, no of course not (what ever that means) but the entire premise of MERGER OF EQUALS is a way to dismiss the obvious upside that USAIR has achieved and if you don't believe me ask any pilot east or west (privately) when this was announced if they were sad to be leaving USAIR?  Forks, we're not all EQUALS, not as airlines, humans, nothing. But we all deserve an equal ability to state our case... so be it, USAPA has stated their case. I just think that their case, and to a much bigger extent  AWA has a flawed base line that starts with the phrase "A MERGER OF EQUALS"

Folks, they've gotten a windfall in the money but to give them MORE flying than they had before would not be fair or equitable unless of course you believe it was a MERGER OF EQUALS???

My stats:
Current AA list - 47%

AAPSIC list    - 46%

West list      - 52%

East list      - 56%.

I'll gain a 1% bump in overall seniority if the AAP proposal is enacted as is, yet AA had 4-5 times the number of widebodies on property and receiving zero credit for that fact directly impacts my future earnings.

I haven't read the details of the AAPSIC proposal but it had better include some permanent fences keeping the widebody flying available to AA pilots.  Otherwise I'll be very disappointed in this new number.  The East and West proposals are laughable, but that's not unexpected considering what you've done to each other for the last few years.

I know, I hear it already - "you were the bankrupt airline."  Hard to put credence in that argument when AA had $12 billion in cash (mostly supplied from the AMR side of the balance sheet) after coming out of bankruptcy and every creditor except employees made more than their investments were worth prior to the bankruptcy.  Can't say that about any other airline bankruptcy, including DAL, NW, TWA, USAIR 1, USAIR 2,(did USAIR have 3 bankruptcies?).

That's my morning coffee take on it.  I'm going to enjoy the weekend and let the rest of you fight about it on C&R.

I don't think anyone's proposal will survive unscathed. This is only the first pass and the arbitrators haven't  even weighed in yet.

It's  NOT personal unless you make it that way. This will take time. Happy Father's Day guys!

I can't argue with that. Same to you, today.

Don't sweat the small stuff. If the pic of the B-747 bothers you that much DONTLOOKATIT. 😉
Every time someone notices evidence of an imbecile the imbecile feels exonerated by ascribing his own flaws to positive character traits that offend or bother those that are in actuality mocking him.

No sense in disturbing his self delusions, as long as he buys his own ties.

Yeah, that's very true.  But it's fun to see the westicle perps at 14,000, isn't it?
And the 1999 East perp/poster at 13979....with a 2004 AW pilot in front of him...

The West aren't the only ones luvthe9's "AA Buddies " are trying to screw.

You're lucky you're so senior and a short timer to boot.

Hopefully, the panel of arbiters aren't senile old men this time around......

Good luck boys and girls.
