There was only one take it or leave it deal.The AirTran guys did agree to it by a wide margin and no one went back on the agreed deal like the East did.Show me ONE AirTran pilot today that isn't happy with being at WN and their huge payraises.AirTran pilots gave up seniority to get huge pay increases and job security.If you think they got a bad deal and aren't happy today, you are the real Dipsh**.

A few new-hire classes ago. There were former southwest pilots in class for American. It was said that they were former AirTran.
I would have never thought...... I guess money isn't everything.....

Have we decided on a name for our new Totally self funded East LLC Yet? has it sunk in that usapa forfeited every single dime of its treasury and aside from the remaining money APA gave usapa, the East is broke. Unorganized, and under very tight time constraints?. FPL is ancient history too. Not much left to refund after the West takes 4.5 million out of the Easts share of the refund and then Confiscates their merger fund that the East pilots stole.
Better start that Bake sale. This gets extraordinarily expensive quickly.

What I get out of the footnotes mike is that the Arbs are free to adjust the Nic to move the West way further up than George did. Everything is a two way street. The 9th didn't order the Nic but they gave the West the biggest hammer at exactly the right time. Plus. Silver has a great deal of latitude. That's going to be an interesting hearing when the FBA begs for mercy.

They can just as easily reject the west pilots argument just as they worked down the CO position and came to a decent deal. The world hardly revolves around the west pilots.

The 9ths opinion in black and white right in front of the Arbitration Panel is worth its weight in Gold. Of course, the USAPA hissy fit and walking out of the proceedings was a nice exclamation point as well.
 
I'd wait until I see what your ol' buddy and bestest Pal Judge Silver has to say before making any suppositions. There's more than a few opinions out there that she sent this back to the 9th intentionally so they could fix the mess they made the first time. Looks like they got the message Loud and Clear.

"What you SHOULD BE WORRIED about" is how the 9th's issuance might well impact the timeline for your ever getting out of PHX....81 more days added already..."Tic toc." A little bit of "leeteegashun" served to keep east and west seperate for years. Unless it's your fullest fantasy that both the company and the APA are simply dying to combine the three branches; well, why should anyone (outside of PHX) really care how long this mess takes to resolve?  Your little 10% or so in PHX are the only ones stagnating/"dying on the vine" here. Just what incredibly enhanced efficiencies do you honestly imagine the company would gain from the eventually combined lists? Oh well, as always; it'll continue to be an interesting little show to see unfold.
