So if Silver had ruled the East Committee must use the Nic, I am sure Leonidas would still not have had time to write an update.    They are just so busy.. no time to write an update no matter what Silver said (even though some of them kept predicting Silver would implement the Nic immediately).

They say they are busy.. but they aren't busy inputing their perm bids.

So anyway...

If the final product of our SLI, of this finally final and bindingly binding seniority integration is an exact replica of the NIC with regard to our placement on the resulting list, is it ok to say the west won the war and not just a particular battle? I think the results would be in and the fat lady had sung at that point.

A lot of us are relieved the East argument of being silenced by an injunction has not come to fruition. The east just got their seat at the table again, unencumbered. Good luck with that freedom. The dislike of any result would easily be dismissed I would think.

So don't overstep, and try not to put you and you'se counsel in contempt. The wording from Silver probably has kept your attorney up for many a night trying to fashion his next argument without jeapordizing himself.

We shall see I guess.

Be sure to make a log book entry for the "Defaced" livery placards on aircraft with USAirways paint. Some juvenile pilots like to use a permant marker and draw a slash through them.  I wrote up an aircraft going into to PHX and MX had to change it.  The PHX mechanic was full aware of the juvenile nature of the PHX pilots.

Seems you've the advantage there then. "And if we're suddenly on some first-name-basis: What's yours?"  Sigh...Typical little "spartan" wuss.
My friends call me Max but you should just call me Captain.

Speaking of integrity, I had the pleasure of having a plane set up with a rad nav ils tuned in. The message was LS/RWY mismatch. Fortunately my Fellow crewmember had had it done to him ,so he was aware. Another guy told me the could not figure it out and tried to get an RNav. ATC could not, so they ended up doing a LOC appr. Safety compromised for sure. Nice integrity!
The prior crew was from the Fishbowl. And a test we did on a subsequent leg shows that the hard tune disappears after landing, so it was done prior to our flight and after the previous crews landing. Submitted.
I had the same problem. Found it in doing a proper flow. Didn't jump to conclusions and blame the east crew before me, however, because I am a grownup.

Hope you documented the incident and let your chief pilot and the FAA aware of what is still going on........the new AA chick pilot in PHL has told us of the increase of these kind of incidents.
Yes, by all means do so because that is what a real "professional" would do after he fails to do a proper flow. Blame someone else.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son, and no, I really don't care what some fools did a decade ago. I am speaking to you. Now.

Your troubled subconcious is showing through there, so I must ask if there's now an established protocol for pwesicous widdle "spartan" kiddies' shenanagans? Has the "cute" little unlocked window thing gone out of fashion in favor of just the RAD/NAV lately? I'll assume that forging false signatures in the aircraft maintenance log book's been put aside, since none have recently seen "George Nicolau" signed in as the supposed captain...?

Grow Up.
Hitting the sauce again I see.

Not making light of this, but please answer: Is the window covered or not on the preflight flow(not that anyone should partially open)? Yes
Is any pilot performing the flow that covers Rad/Nav if not required for a departure/ MEL prior to takeoff? Not that I am aware of.
Please enlighten me if I am incorrect.
You guys are taking some extremely risky chances with the number of FAA personnel on our flight decks these days. Someone is going to hear about this one because of that very reason.
Did you actually make that statement in public? Other pilots are not doing a proper flow that I am aware of so I guess I don't have to. Explains all that bent metal.

In anticipation of a stupid retort I will direct you to page 2a-35 of OM Volume I. Captain's preflight under RMP. Page 2a-43 for First officers.
But I guess if you are an east hole and no other pilot that you are aware of does it you are good to go.

The point is the East pilots should not be subjected to a former west pilot induced Easter Egg hunt during a equipment change.  That is almost as an ignorant of a reply than the company's, head in the sand, follow sop and that will take care of it approach.

Bottom line, it is a block of threat error management that should not exist.
Just more of the same courtesy of Usapian rotten eggs

USA Today ad=fuel skool

Bogus Safety slowdown as a negotiation tool=injunction

I'm in AWE of your ability to determine that was a West marker, detective.

I'm sure you don't have a "permant" marker as you call it, either. 😉

He said RAD/NAV, not RMP, right? Got 3 yes votes out of it though.

Good to see you back. What did you think of the injunction?

That rad nav function clears after the previous approach. If it was there it was a set up.
Nothing like this ever happened ever before until shared metal. If you see it, report it.
And as PI said, it is NOT a preflight item.
There are people tracking these occurrences.
