First falsehood..the Nic required a JCBA to make it binding.  Absolutely false.  
 
The truth is the TA required a JCBA to be fulfilled, and then the Nic would have been implemented at LCC.
 
The Nic is still final and binding on the parties to the arbitration.  Those same parties are now in another SLI.
 
The Nic was "in effect" 7 years ago and is still "in effect" today.  Seven years ago there was only one company accepted single seniority list for all LCC pilots, and that has never changed.

Actually, you are, as is so often the case, wrong.
 
usapa is still an LCC incorporated in NC, and the defendant in two ongoing lawsuits.
 
Damages have yet to be awarded from Silver in the 9th circuit's order from which they found usapa in violation of its DFR, and Judge Conrad has the reins held pretty tight on the treasury of the defunct organization.

Seeham used it to play on your emotions and make himself something North of ..was it $6 million or $10 million?..I have forgotten already.
 
The company used it to keep the east on LOA93 for a decade, and the West on contract 2004.
 
Oh, and the current SLI panel has already used it very often in their decision making process to date.  i.e.  should the West have a committee to promote the NIc..answere a resounding YES..and the Nic was used almost every day so far in the current arbitration as a reference along with CAL/UAL. 
 
Word on the street (or more figuratively, word in the AMR hubs).
 
west pilots are walking around the terminals, miserable.  You can see the disconnect between a west captain and the f/o's in public.  The west f/o with the liberty tie and the west captain with the new AMR tie, some want to live in the past some want to move on.
 
November is the first month west Flight Attendants are mixed with East Pilots.  
 
West and East flight attendants are unanimous on commenting on the professionalism of the East pilots vs the immaturity and angry attitude of the west pilots.

Where you been??  Everybody wants to move on...remember, we voted in an MOU by 98% in PHX.

Did you even work at LCC much less the New American?
 
And, congrats on the whole unanimous flight attendant professionalism award, it is gonna make a huge difference in the SLI junior.
 
The pilots that are the most naive, that will be most disappointed and surprised by the results of the MB BOA award, will be the rank and file Legacy AMR pilots.
