Don't mind me...Perhaps to my discredit, and/or lack of patience past a given point: I've finally given up on attempting to "talk" to those people that routinely post nothing more than the now standard: "We/I want my St Nic Gift...NOW!!!" and usual "It's All just about ME!!" variants. I think I'll just note that events will unfold as they will, and that their BS's truly of little import.
On a positive note: We've got a great bunch of guys/gals to fly with, arguably the very best in the business ..a fine view out the office windows, and those reasons to come to work. That hasn't changed, and I fully expect that we'll keep that buncha' lociusts from swarming the place...things could be far worse. Given some time...things will very likely get much better for all of us,..all we need do is NOT "drop the ball" at this point. The future will very likely find us far better off in many ways. I'm thinking more in terms of "after the decert" not "IF" such will happen these days 😉
Alpo's down to it's last bags of BS to throw.
1) A "Contract" will be "offered" before the decert election..partly due to Alpo's delaying tactics of course, but mostly because management will play ball with keeping those idiots/political hacks/etc here, and thus ensuring "managed expectations" and minimal hopes for the pilot group. It'll likely have some "enhancements" from the parker first offer...not much, but some. Look for this in the near future. It'll be accompanied by much Alpoid angelic trumpeting...as though a "miracle"..and it'll definately happen, or be announced as "imminent/"We're just working the very last details out of how tough we're gonna' be on the company")..😉.... before the election to dump their pathetic arses. The specific timing and delivery will only be dependant on Fat Boy/Prater's overpaid advisory collection of clowns at Alpo Notional's best "thinking" 😉.
2) Alpo will magically drag it's feet on allowing those currently in "Bad Standing" that're trying to regain voting rights...and generally perform any/all possible treachery to thwart the actual will of the east "membership" that it so passionately "represents" 😉
3) The annoying Alpo emails will increase, and an overall propoganda blitz will likely increase in short order.
4) Some few Alpo-"made" tiny "miracles" may well occur = the company action against the pilots that allegedly perfomed an "illegal job action" would be an easy "instant fix"...given that the company most definately wants to keep Alpo for it's own reasons. Come on..why have we heard so much about that one?..as if Alpo "cares"? 😉
"Management" most very certainly wants to keep the Alpo shills that've historically always been "fine" with incestuous relationships with managements, rather than face any actual Union...so properly assume that Alpoids will indeed "offer" an "imminent contract" (that's allready set with Parker and cronies), and will nonetheless be sold as a "miracle" of negotiating talent. It WILL..."sigh...can't help it kiddies"...include Nic, with perhaps the tiniest of "modifications' that mean nothing, but read well...and be tossed forward in the last Alpo hopes of seeing just how many are truly gullible, and willing to sell out completely. Those jerkoffs are really getting down to their last available BS...expect it to be thickly layered on, and be seen soon....There's only so much time that they can stall an election.
The next two-three months will be "interesting times" indeed 😉

I think we all full expect ALPA will emerge in all its glory... ehh.. gory? Well, you know, we will be utterly amazed to watch with wonder at the heights and depths of cunning and craft (pun intended) to which the threat of loosing 11 Mil a year will drive the ALPOphiles that protect it.

The east must have had some pretty stiff educational requirements also. After Nic came out, one written update proclaimed that the egregious award 'disseminated' the east pilot ranks.
Ah, the cruelties of resentment. You guys go ahead and continue with the name calling and put downs. At the end of the day, it's your MEC leaders that should be receiving all this heart felt, not us. Our guys were just following the rules. Why on Earth someone over there doesn't summit a recall against the whole east MEC I'll never know.

How about their safety program. After all what would we do without the increase in traffic into PHL allowed by the reduced clusterfilk of reduced spacing for the ILS into the parallel runways that aren't far enough apart to play a little flag football between them? After all when PHL is socked in that is when it can handle the most aircraft.

Who would want to bet against management taking full advantage of the leadership vacuum and piling on U-SAPs to see what they're made of, and once they find it crafted of nothing more than paper mache' and guano, set the tone for labor relations for years to come with concessionary proposals that will meet little resistance. U-SAPs will no doubt come to the pilots saying, "we have to choose our battles wisely, given our limited resources..."
And of course you'll never find anyone who ever voted for USAPA
