Sorry, I will be holding out until the last day possible. The new uniform is ugly, tacky AND the dress looks like what we buried my Great Aunt Helen in when she passed back in '89. God rest her soul ! The new uniform will not change morale or the way this company treats it's passengers or employees so how could I be excited about it?

I think it may improve morale a little actually! I put mine on last night, the blue longsleeve and the white longsleeve with the Bold (red and blue striped) tie and the vest. I have to say I looked damn good and it has kind of a professional look too. It's only business casual if you want or make it that way.

Note: I also tried on the turtleneck again and whooaaa nooooo, it ain't happening. I originally thought it would be nice for commuting so I wouldn't have to get all up in a tie but after seeing it on I'm not so sure, and I'm not even fat.

well .. you know i am gonna wear the vest. it also looks good with the striped heritage shirt and the bold blue tie. we have so many ways of wearing it i don't know what to put on tomorrow.

Well whatever it is, it's better than that drab POS that we have now. I guess it's all in how you wear it and the amount of pride that you take in yourself. I happen to be one of those flight attendants that takes care of myself and would like to convey the image of what a flight attendant should look like. If if I'm ever so wide that I can't fit down the aisle or I have rolls covering my ooh hoo then maybe it's time to move into a different department.

republic airlines is not recieiving the same uniforms as usairways is. only the wholly owned get the new uniform .
