Does anyone know her background? I assume it is from res, not the airport. One might wonder just what qualifies her for the spot. The cwa.net website has no info or background. It would be nice if it had a "who is who" section so that the dues paying members know who is representing them.
One also might wonder if the airport agents might have been better off with a union with more background in the airline industry.
Speaking of the cwa.net site, here is the latest news:
The IBT- CWA Association elected bargaining team met for two days in Phoenix with US Airways labor relations at US Airways headquarters.
This session was to identify which Letters of Agreements that have been signed since 2005 are still applicable and if applicable, which Articles they should be inserted into. There was agreement that some will remain as Letters of Agreement.
Umm, how about stating which ones? Nice job "communicating", eh?
Don't get me wrong; even if CWA's representation of the customer service group leaves something to be desired, I am sure the agents would be worse off without a union.
