mike33,
I have worked as a Grievance Committee Chairperson under the RC team and the ND team. I have remained dedicated to the members I represent regardless of which team wins office. I fully intend to do so in the future regardless of who gets elected. I believe in working with and supporting the team the membership votes for. I do this for the good of the members I represent. US Airways employees vs. UA employees on the slate? Is this really an issue? What does it matter if you have more US employees on the slate if some of them are not qualified and are only on the team to gain votes? Do you think they will remain involved if they or their slate is not voted in? Some have not been involved, or don't have the experience of other candidates leading up to this election.
In closing, I have worked under the leadership of many the past 32 years, however, I have continued to work brother.

I got a look at your slate today, and I must say that I don't recognize many names on it. Does it matter about UA vs US people? Yes it does, as the UA folks don't have much if any of a reputation when it comes to negotiations or much else at US. I no longer receive the "Messenger", but when I did the fact that 90% was geared toward UA was hard to overlook.
I personally would prefer US employees who are "in tune" with what is going on within the company that they are representing instead of a group who only have a slight idea. Sorry, but that's just my preference...
