I worked on Customs Cases on my own time... how many jobs have you personally saved? How about Jester... how many Members has he personally returned to work because of his diligence, dedication, and knowledge?

You can give me estimates... is it more than 10... perhaps less than 20?

Roa, are you saying that if you don't have a customs seal you could not work on the property and you personally saved these guys from termination? I've worked at three intl'l airports with US operating out of two and you could still work the domestic gates without the seal, unless policy has changed or it's just at your work place, there seems to be some confusion. Also int'l bid was always an option to get away from the domestic side for seniority reasons.

nothing sleezy, everything has been and continues to be straight up as you know. There are no secret candidates as all candidates will appear on the ballot in June. Again, you are incredibly presumptuous about the give backs and you have presumed wrong. Givebacks will happen for sure. Instead of busting my balls about something that you can not verify, how about just saying that you don't believe my team will sacrifice but if we do then that is a worthy and honorable thing? And, since you worked for me within the last 12 months, for free, please tell all of us exactly at what point within the last 12 months did you go from working for me for free, to publically saying I'm basically a fraud? If you said that you worked 'for free' then maybe that is where your anger comes in at, did you contact Atkinson to get paid? Again, who works for someone 'for free' but thinks they are a fraud? Doesn't make sense

There have been a few that have returned with full benefits but I don't dwell on it.
Nothing like working in a small station where you don't have to deal with customs.

Tim, we've hashed this out before. YOU CAN NOT GUARANTEE THE GIVEBACKS! There is NOTHING that is LEGALLY BINDING to force your candidates to pay. In addition, two of your candidates are reported to have said they will NOT participate. There is absolutely no way you can make your statement. The only guarantee you can give with any certainty is YOUR participation and that's still only your word (for what it is or isn't worth). You continue on this path, so now I must say it.

TIM IS MISLEADING THE MEMBERSHIP! He insists again and again that these proposed givebacks will happen. As honorable a gesture the givebacks are, at the very least they will not happen on the scale he proposes. At best, in my humble opinion, Tim will be the only one, maybe one or two of his AGCs as well. At worst, no one will. Personally I think Tim is sincere in his offer of givebacks, but I think when no one else does it he will not follow through either.

Some stations that were in furlough packets, CLT, PHL, and BOS for example, specify a requirement for the CBP seal. I didn't know we flew int'l out of BOS, but it still requires it. I'm guessing the airport determines it, either as a blanket everyone, or it perhaps may be a case of having employees working in a domestic/international terminal (PHX comes to mind) that all employees need it. It could be US on the grounds that you might be junior assigned to int'l. I don't know. I DO know that he's right, some stations simply require it without exception.

At one time we had a 767 out of Bos to Fra I think. It is also a catch all for any Int'l that turn back for maint if they can't make Phl.

CLT of course requires it for any US employee , BOS while I don't know for sure may require it as a place that US flts from Europe have diverted to. I know a number of CLT transcons have diverted there in the past.

Whoever the president becomes will have the ability to assign up to 8 new AGC's. I will be incredibly insistent that any of those who I appoint would have to fall in line by sacrificing back to the masses. Trust me, being an appointee myself at one time, if you don't fall in line, you get whacked. Therefore, the potential sacrifice is closer to $500,000 a year for the members. It's going to happen. Bottom line. And all the givebacks will be posted immediately with the first pay check. There is no alternative with all of our broke locals and dues increases, which I find as an abomination since NONE of our members, whether US AIRWAYS or United have gotten one single pay raise this year, even as other unions get things for their members. Something is very very wrong with that.

I think the Feds would have something to say about that since it is nowhere in the constitution of this organization. Whack them and the IAM could be open for paying a lot of $$$$$$$ for not participating in an organization that doesn't have the Contributional " Write-off " for this. Lets ask the IRS?

Well i say where there is 1 deception ( givebacks ) there is another. I haven't looked too deep to find it because my vote is the same as my last till i see a contract CLTrat ( for ND ), so it doesn't interests me much.
