Hope you folks have more sense than over 50% of my coworkers.
I'm sure the vote will come and when it does people will vote the way they believe is best. You’re just mad it didn't go your way. It’s great to be able to vote.

I don't trust anyone who has been laying a beach
somewhere in OGG for a solid week.

BF

Didn't even touch the water and got back on wed. not a whole week. All work no play. You were on Vac when I got back. How do you lay a beach?

Facts, baby, facts only.

If the Company and the IAM think outsourcing is acceptable with the membership, please show them that we are against it and VOTE NO to any contract that contains outsourcing language. May we remind you that we are trying to preserve jobs? In-sourcing stations that were axed should be the talk at the table, not "let's see who we can throw under the bus".

I'll say it again.... any Union with any staying power will fight for each and every member's job! Instead we are seeing the leaders of our company and our union hammering out deals that inculde the potential loss of member's jobs...NOT COOL.

GIVE us a B.S. T.A. with outsourcing language and it will get voted down..........................FLUSH

Ok thats fine no outsourcing keep all the cities. So heres what you can expect for that and this would be the only way. Everyone is brought up to hub pay, with no increase of the current pay.
Im sure the hubs would be on board with this since I have seen some here say they will not throw the west cities under the bus. In fact lets be even bolder lets get back some of those cities that they did throw under the bus last time like CLE, and MSP, TLH, PNS,DAY.
So I agree no pay rasies to keep as many cities as we can.
Just look at the M/R agreement. They will not keep all the shpos open they understand that there is some give and take here.

Seekthetruth,

United M&R havent been in IAM in several years, and they just ousted AMFA in favor of the IBT.

Just to add a bit here, first of all you won't see any of the outsourced cities come back period. As much as I would love to see it happen since mine was one of them, it is only wishful thinking. The boys in the Hubs didn't care about us then, and I'm sure they still don't. Based on what went down last time, the Hub members will throw ANYONE under the bus if it means they can get at $1 raise out of it. All of the AGS'S, and any others on the NC are from the Hubs or larger stations, and they only care about their own folks. They have no reguard for the rest of the dues paying membership at all. Hooray for us, and Screw everyone else. They don't even care enough to undo the injustice of the 60 day rule that further screwed those that lost jobs due to outsourcing in 2005, so don't think that they have had a change of heart this time around.

700, most people if not all on the fleet service thread know in referring to
''united m&r iam'' knew I was referring to Canale (united) m&r (in general)
and IAM (as a rep). You are not a member of the fleet, I'm guessing.

So its like this........If the east is happy it's a done deal......BUTT wait you have a vote.....
What would it take..?...
MONEY.......19.00-19.50 a hour......
VACATION.......
SICK TIME.......
SCOPE............. SELL OUT ......I ONLY CARE ABOUT ME.......
OVERTIME........
HOLIDAYS........
fill in the blanks...........
THINK ABOUT YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS.......if you care...
Just heard from some of our PHL brothers that are in the loop that it's a done deal. Randy is signing it on Monday unless the company's numbers don't come up right. This deal is worse than the one in September. Heard the top out was $19 and if that's true then it's less of a raise than the one in September. You guys lost the extra week of vacation in 2011, lost the pension increase, lost shift differ. The overtime and Holiday articles was also less. Instead of getting 10 holidays with holiday premium in 2011, Hemenway agreed to give 2 holidays up front as long as Randy signed off on the other 3. Same with overtime, Randy said he needed more up front to get a yes vote so Hemenway agreed to give doubletime rates on the 6th day after 8 hours and 7th day provided Randy would scrap the full double time rates on any day as provided for in the September proposal. All 19 stations are also contracted out no earlier than 2011. Was told that all west negotiators were going to recommended this with a thumbs up and our guy isn't recommending it. I also think that the CLT and PIT NC members aren't going to recommend this either but all I heard was the west negotiators threw their stations under the bus again with full recommendation.
Randy and this company are trying to get this proposal passed because of the anticipated merger announcement due around June 1. I've heard who it is but because of my position, no way do I tell.

Janitor,
thanks for the update.
as far as why the west negotiator went for it is simple . RR is running on RANDYS ticket for a VP position and might I say

a very very large PAY INCREASE for himself. HE could care less about losing those cities

Randy cannot sign off until members vote on it am i right? that is if he will actually allow the members to vote at all

Managements "Hat Trick"

Everyone needs to see what management gets for our hard work. We get $50 and they get thousands without lifting a finger. Apparently this was filed on the day M&R voted on their T/A. Print it out and show your co-workers. Everyone needs to be aware of this when they bring out our T/A.

I realize that all we have right now is rumor and speculation, but, if there is a T/A, it better be acceptable. I mean the company WANTS the CIC, the company WANTS our profit sharing, the company WANTS a 2 or 3 year extension. And they want us to just give it to them without a cost to them. The sad part in all this is that canoli and crew agree with management on this, not Fleet, the people that pay them. If this rumored T/A looks anything like the September one, VOTE NO! Lets send another message to canoli and AH that we will not settle for anything less than industry standard if not better. Why is the concession stand open again? The I"LL ASK MANAGEMENT better rethink, along with the company, "0" cost or cost neutral CBA's. Fleet will not accept them anymore. to all that are on the I"LL ASK MANAGEMENT's payroll, REOPEN SECTION 6 FOR THE WEST ALREADY!

If it's anything like I'm hearing, a big NO vote awaits it.

We need to spank Canale and his team for giving us anything less than standard.

It's like they waited for the anger to cool down, and they are going to try again after kicking us in the groin for another year.

Well GUESS WHAT? WE HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH YET! KEEP GOING!

To hell with their excuses, labor is NOT an area where they are going to save money!

this is a joke right? my sources haven't called back but I can't hardly imagine as bad as Canali is that he would bring back such a jerkoff agreement.
