They spent just with this one charter company $112,000 for the chartering of private jets.

no, I am not lying. you are simply validating the same thing that I and meto have both said... unions are bloated institutions that collect way more in dues than they spend to negotiate for their own employees.

ALPA doesn't need to use a corporate jet anymore than IAM does for airline representation.

walk thru the streets of London? honestly, most of us would love to be able to do that on a regular basis.

if it happened, it is a one time thing and I can assure you that it is far form something that could happen to DL.

to try to argue that it is a union issue is beyond stupid.

It could just as easily have been a problem with the hotel. and if they turned away DL FAs, I would bet that they will lose the contract.

and let's also remember that many of the hotels by crews are used by multiple airlines.

And I can assure you that DL did not tell the FAs to just head out looking for a room.

And I find it hard to believe that DL would not have authorized taxis if it had been more than just about a block or so away.

I doubt seriously that those FAs walked any longer from the two hotel check-in desks than they did from their arrival gate to the crew shuttle.

but, hey, truth is always the casualty when sales campaigns are in full swing.

The Hotel didnt lose their contract and DL didnt authorize taxis for them, it has been discussed before.

you mean it has been posted on an internet chat site where DL didn't have the opportunity to provide its perspective and where the truth is ALWAYS the casualty when representation campaigns are going on.


If the hotel had less rooms than the number of FAs but more than the number of pilots, then it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that dividing the FA crew makes no sense - but that hardly makes it either a pilot (CBA) vs FA (no CBA) issue or something that DL knew was going to happen and didn't deal with?

do you honestly think that DL or any airline spent LESS on a hotel than they would have at the contracted hotel?
what rational reason would DL have intentionally screwed the FAs out of a hotel room so they could accommodate the FAs?

and what was a union going to do any differently? DO you honestly think that a hotel in London could care less aobut whether employees are unionized or not in deciding who to accommodate? if they didn't have the rooms, they didn't have the rooms.

It isn't rocket science for anyone other than those who merely play with rockets and can't logically think thru the most basic thought processes.

I don't know the facts but to argue that a union could have resulted in a different result is nothing short of a lie itself.

IAM-  This "possible" election has everything to do with the IAM and nothing to do with the Delta F/A's....
 
You couldnt be more wrong, its about the DL FAs, you know the over 12,000 that signed cards who want a CBA and a say in the workplace.

There are numerous tasks they do, they are verifying signatures and will call for an election very soon.

I have a lot at stake in this election, as I have been with Delta for over 25 years.
Care to tell us why you are so interested in this DELTA F/A election?
You continue to prove that its people such as yourself and many others who 
are highly invested in what WE as F/A's do.  MANY OUTSIDERS proving this
possible election has NOTHING to do with the Delta F/A's and everything to do 
with the IAM.
