Kev you brought up WN. It's a reasonable question why 142 is still located in Kansas City. I may take a trip out to visit the district and UAW locals for the Ford & GM plants out there.

Josh

You won't make it in the door at 142 I will make sure of that. Dave and I go way back to 1989 in TPA when he was my coworker and Grievance Committee Chairman.

And the whole CBA is online with the old language lined out and new language there. Guess it's too complicated for you to click on the link.

So why is it in Kansas City?  And I've visited the Grand Lodge and other union halls and met union officials. I enjoy it and learning from people.

Will you be guarding the doors?

Naw....he's at home, spreading IAM propaganda, waiting for the checks to come in!
Southwind you're welcome to come to MCI too.

Josh

And you won't know when I will be there.

More lies again south wind. I have been working 70 plus hours a week for my business. Worked for Dale Jr. last night we raised $350,000 last night for his charity foundation.

Once again I don't work for nor get by the IAM but hey keep up your lies and pay off your bet you welcher.

Why is it in Kansas City if there is no longer a large concentration of IAM members?

Josh

Because it's there and they have a satellite office in Valley Stream, NY and it's not cost effective to move it and there is no need too.

And there also isn't a large concentration of 142 members in the New York area. Both made sense when the bulk of the district membership was TWA which had many employees at those locations. So the district is in accessible to the members they are there to serve and MCI isn't an easy place to travel to/from.

Josh

And back in the day more TW employees were in STL not MCI. Is it there because at one time O'Driscoll and Aldofini worked in MCI? Pretty sure they are both NYers, but at any rate all the appointed IAM TWA suck ups seem to be from JFK.

Josh

The members don't go to the district office the district is ran out of there. I have been there many times, have you? The finances are other things are done out of there. No need for it to be anywhere else but you wouldn't understand that and all you care to do is stir the pot. It doesn't matter where it is and especially for you since you have nothing to do with 142.
