After all, there's "always more to the story," right?

right here:Who said that was the main reason for the trip?
If I've learned anything in the last 5 years at this place, it's that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction...

Alan Winters I can understand how many might think it strange. I guess we did, too; however, since meeting Joanne at a Velvet in FLL I had had many conversations with her during the last Union campaign during the merger. Bridgette and I had a close relationship with Joanne, as strange as that may sound.
So then why are you (as a former stck clerk) involved in the drive, at least on here and WCDFA?700UW said:
no it is nowhere even remotely close to normal to discuss any employee's situation, let alone their termination, with another employee or their spouse.eolesen said:You guys do realize Alan's wife is a flight attendant for DL as well, right?
It's unusual, but not entirely unheard of to bring in the spouse for a discussion when both work for the same company in the same department and one of the two is being terminated. It's more likely to happen in a smaller company than one the size of DL, but maybe Joanne thought his wife could talk some sense into him so he'd go quietly?
Dunno what really happened, but there may be more fragments of truth to the "they flew his wife to ATL" story than what some people might be comfortable admitting.
