Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

Actually when the CWA filed at AA the threshold was only 35%, and what happened when they voted next?

At PMUS it took three times to get the ramp unionized and also several times for the upstairs agents.

Do the research.

You forgot AA sued the CWA over the threshold as the law changed AFTER the CWA filed the first time.

By an 86 percent vote, airport and reservations agents overwhelmingly chose representation by the Communications Workers of America-Teamsters Association in the National Mediation Board election; results of the vote were announced this afternoon. US Airways and American Airlines merged to form the New American Airlines in 2013.

And your lying again the CWA never announced the percentage of cards signed, as there is nothing on any of their press releases from when they filed the first time.

Keep up your misinformation as usual.

Had there not been a merger with US they wouldn't be able to hold another vote until now, January 2015. There are no imminent mergers facing DL with IAM represented F/A carriers if the IAM loses they will be barred. And even if they needed 35% of the cards they still didn't get that much support, that's 700-odd fewer votes than they received.

You will know what you pay, each local lodge sets their dues according to the IAM constitution, no one is hiding that fact.
Dues are normally two times the weighted hourly wage.

So basically its two hours of your pay, but its averaged every year by each local lodge, so if your base is junior your dues will be less than a base that is senior as more FAs are topped out.

No one is hiding anything, if you actually asked or did research you would know how its done, and you wont pay any dues till your CBA goes into effect.

Once again, dont let the facts get in your way.

Lots of misinformation being spread by DL and its minions I see.
I think you're missing the point.
The IAM will not disclose how much until AFTER the vote.
Your comrades aren't even saying that each flight attendant will pay differently wow.
Thats a new one. lol...  I know now I can't get accurate info here.

And the fact that it took multiple times just shows you the greedy self serving union leaders are only looking to pad their membership rolls and dues income they can't take no for an answer.

Doesnt matter how another vote happened, PMAA has more CSA and RES than PMUS, so AA's employees wanted the CWA, too bad so sad.

And this is where your post comes from and is there now.

The CWA really got screwed here. Had they not agreed to this BS Association with America West they would represent everyone at the combined AA. PMUS was much larger than PMHP why did they agree to the association and would have represented everyone? John John said you were critical of the CWA-IBT alliance but now support the IAM-TWU alliamce.

Since the IAM supporters like to compare the Union to buying insurance,
Why is that I know my premiums UPFRONT before I decide to purchase?
Not so with the IAM.  I can't get an answer as to how much I have to pay each
month....shady...
Did you ask the same question of our employer regarding medical premiums prior to open enrollment?

How 'bout what percent of income our PS payout will be this year?

You can't even get your posts straight.

PMAA had more CSA and RES than PMAA? Seriously?

Josh

You dont get it.

Its TWO TIMES the weighted hourly wage.

You cant figure it out till the snapshot is taken at the base at the time of ratification.

So the most you will more than likely pay is two times the topped out rate of the FA, the IAM has never hidden that fact.

By working for DL they are free to unilaterally change benefits and compensation. The IAM BABA would be paying dues to provide a service, the IAM is working for BABA..

It is a grave injustice of even a single worker is forced to join a union or pay any amount of an agency fee just to remain in their job. It is wrong if even a single worker at a company is forced to pay against their will.

I'm sure the NRTW thanks you for carrying their water.

And the IAM can increase at any time. Why have the executive council salary increases exceeded the increases IAM members earn through their CBAs? Why is Andrew Buffenbarger who NEVER worked in an IAM shop has a cushy job working for his Dad making nearly $200k? What did he do to earn that job? Why should BABA's dues sustain his cushy lifestyle?

Oh I'm a big supporter make no mistake there. Nothing would make me happier than a national right to work law, probably would be happier with that than a flat income tax just knowing that organized labor would get destroyed.
