The wager was very simple. When he loses he has to leave Airline Forums. No one respects anything he has to say here anyway and losing the bet would probably be the greatest thing that ever happened to him from a personal standpoint. He could move on to do far more important things with his life and maybe even things that are beneficial to others?

He certainly doesn't accomplish any of that on here.
I do accomplish quite a bit - it just doesn't happen to be what you want to see.

What's the bet on?

BTW, cards continue to stream in for the ramp...
good question.

so who is forging signatures?

and how many got tossed into the "expired" trash can?

Indeed.

...And before someone says it, yes, ATL is a huge station, but that no. of cards is a stark turnaround to the historic rate.

Even in Mecca the times are a-changin'...

Are you the one who forged signatures with Gerry's help?

yes, spring is coming there.

reread what Bob wrote about outsourcing.

the fastest way for DL to catch up to AA and UA's rate of ramp outsourcing is to vote in a union.

All DL has to deliver is industry average and dozens of stations will be closed and thousands of jobs lost.

just by being industry average; with a union DL no longer needs to exceed any metric in terms of how it compensates its employees.

This bogeyman of "forged cards" should not have been a surprise to anyone that is familiar with labor history, and union avoidance in particular. I would not be surprised to start seeing (unverified) reports of things like NoWayer's cars being damaged, or being allegedly harassed at home. The shadowmen that carry these campaigns out are nothing if not predictable...

Like I said earlier, things will only ramp up from here.

again, it never could cross your mind that overzealous labor organizers could have done something like this.... it could only be DL's attempts to squash the movement.

They wont and didnt, everyone knows the NMB will match and verify EVERY single card that has been signed.

then they will find plenty that don't bear the signatures of the people whose name is on them.

it doesn't matter how they got there; there are DL FAs who say they didn't ever sign a card. that means that interest is a whole lot lower and it raises the question of how many other cards not just for the FAs but for this avalanche of cards that are coming in for the ramp are real.

The bet is that Delta FA's will vote in the IAM as their bargaining agent and will be a part finally of the Labor movement.

I gave WT my terms for when that happens and would love to hear what his terms would be if it actually does wind up failing?

He firmly believes it's not going to happen? Well ok, what's the saying "Put your money where your mouth is"

It's a playbook that has been very successful for those companies against Unions. They have no point in deviating from it.

good, how much?

DL FAs have 3 times played labor unions in order to get more from DL. There is no reason to believe this time is any different.

plz.

if the companies are really that powerful and employees can't figure it out, then the unions really don't have much to stand on, do they?

unions have failed because they have failed to deliver anything of value to the majority of workers.

The value obtained for hundreds of dollars in dues is not there. that's not my determination. That is what millions of Americans have decided.

The market is always right.

If the DL Fa's organize with the IAM you are to leave the Forums pages and never return. That also means you can not come back under a different handle either as it's extremely easy to tell it's you from your obsessive overwriting and direction.

That's my price. What say you? Care to place a wager?

Care to make a wager on that?

You arent a DL FA and you claim you arent paid to post, so you have no clue what has happened nor what will happened.

You cant even think for yourself, you are using the propaganda DL has paid a THIRD PARTY to put out.

And DL is using Anti-Union Playbook 101, these lies were expected.

Do you have actual proof of a forged card?

Nope you dont.
